Today has been one of those days where I am reminded why TLBB is so important and why I can’t close the doors, despite the hours away from my own children, the mountains of dirty clothes, the endless scrubbing of prams, the hundreds of pounds spent on disposing of dangerous and unstable items, the money spent on sourcing things that are so needed but just don’t cross my doorstep.
Today, these two cherubs have been reunited for the first time since they were born on 27 June at just 27 weeks gestation, they’ve spent weeks in different hospitals, there have been moments where it was thought they’d never be together again, against all the odds they are here, they are thriving and they are doing incredibly well despite all their little battles.
Thanks to TLBB these beautiful boys have been clothed with specialist premature clothing, been provided with nappies, cotton wool, bedding and something that’s made me cry my eyes out tonight, two matching blankets 💙💙
What I do isn’t easy, it consumes me, it costs me a huge amount of time and money BUT I definitely have it easier than some and I absolutely can’t complain, moments like this remind me of the why.
With so much gratitude to you all, with so much love to you all, thank you for believing in me, supporting my mission and making sure no baby goes without.
The future is uncertain for TLBB, we have to move and this means downsizing significantly, currently I give a huge part of my home to TLBB and I simply won’t be able to carry on as I have been for the last 6 years, BUT….I will work it out and I promise giving up will be the absolute last resort.
Love always
