Hey all,

Just writing on here again as Christmas is coming up 🍾🎄

If you have a Christmas party dress that needs taking up or a Christmas tablecloth that's just too big or even wanted to make some little christmasy cushion covers to add some more festive cheer, please send me a message through my seamstress and upcycling page! ☺️

I have availability and will be offering discounted rates up until Christmas for some new clients to get to know me!

Hi, I'm Hannah Joce 😊
A seamstress based in Liskeard and Plymouth. I have first class honours degree in fashion design and a passion for "old" clothes!
I am starting this business as a seamstress now after raising my little monkey to school age and now is the time I get myself back onto the sewing machine full time upcycling creations and mending clothes.

It is called make do because I believe we should buy less but for better quality and therefore those clothes will last longer and be worth mending, and less wastage and landfill, less fast fashion and yes to slow fashion!

So that's a little about me, I love a good charity shop bargain that I can take home and either upcycle or adjust to fit me perfectly, do you? Why not give it a try!
I am also here for all your tears in your favourite jacket, your forever problem of your trousers being just that bit too long or to pinch you in at the waist!
