Following the tragic loss of a good friend & TT racer Daniel Ingham , his family is facing an incredibly difficult road ahead. Dan lived for his family and chased his dreams on the Mountain Course. Tragically, due to the extreme nature of road racing, his life insurance policy hasn't paid out. This has left his wife, Helayna, and their two young children, Joey and Phoebe, facing the devastating reality of losing their family home on top of losing a husband and father. The racing community always looks out for its own. Let’s rally together to protect Dan's family the way he always supported others in the paddock. Please donate if you can, share this link, and help keep a roof over his children's heads.

If you have photos or stories for Joey and Phoebe’s memory book, please share them at [email protected].

I'll stick the go fund me in the comments as Facebook won't allow me to share anymore links. Much appreciated.

G.B.N.F. Happy birthday Mark, a true racer and a great friend. Years have passed but the paddock has never felt the same without you. Today, I'm looking back at the good times, the loud laughs, and the pure joy you felt whenever you were on two wheels. You left doing what you loved, but you left us way too soon. Miss you every day buddy. ❤️‍🩹 Joe & family

Ok well here we go. 1st thing's 1st thank you to the 81 bikers/ business/ clubs local and across the UK, Spain, Ireland, India, France and Portugal that put their names down in favour of a Permanent bikers memorial in Littlehampton. Unfortunately there was not enough interest to go ahead with the investment so that's where we are.

To those who put their names down on the ipetition in favour of a permanent bikers memorial message me direct & I will sort out a little something for you next year, just keep in touch.

On news going forward with Rev It Forward it's just no longer possible to run this large scale logistic operation on my own, out of my own pocket, across the whole central coastline of West Sussex and further afield . I cover just too many services now & there's not enough hrs in the day with a full time job, not to mention the poor old family car had enough yesterday being treated as a van with rev It Forward over the last year, she's just not up for running around anymore but she's looked after me the last 20+ years.
So going forward for now I'll have to keep all 4 donation points shut until I can figure something else out and concentrate on getting myself sorted first for a change. Thanks to one and all, it's been a blast 🏍️💨

🏍️ BIG UPDATE so you know why I've had to step back from what I normally do to spend time & work on this project:

First of thank you to each and everyone one of you who have already put their name down on the iPetition to show the support is behind this and to everyone who has reached out.

The Vision for the Rev It Forward Bikers Memorial Bench!

To my amazing biking community, we want to share exactly what we are building together with the Permanent Hybrid Bikers Memorial on the iconic Long Bench at the Littlehampton seafront in WestSussex.

This isn’t just a monument—it is going to be the first of its kind in the world, bridging permanent remembrance with live, immediate support. While this landmark is designed by bikers for the biking community, it is built to help the entire wider community. Anyone sitting on this bench—whether a rider, a local resident, child or a visitor—will have access to its life-saving resources.

Here is exactly what we aim to achieve together:

1. A 50-Slat Bench for Maximum Visual Impact in conjunction with the original long bench enabling the whole Long bench to be one virtual bikers memorial and one stop hub for help and support for the whole community.

We are looking at securing a dedicated 50-slat section of the Long Bench. This isn't just about size; it is designed for visual impact along the seafront. It will stand out as a powerful, unavoidable landmark that commands attention, honors our lost riders with the dignity they deserve, and makes everyone stop, think, and look.

2. Boosting Tourism & Supporting Local businesses because this will be a world-first landmark, it will become a major destination for the global biking community and tourists alike. By drawing more visitors and riding groups to the Littlehampton seafront throughout the year, this project will actively bring increased footfall to our area, directly supporting our fantastic local cafes, restaurants, shops, and businesses.

🚦 3. Road Safety & Public Awareness.

With that massive visual presence, this landmark will serve as a permanent reminder to the driving public to "Think Bike". By placing road safety and awareness at the forefront of the seafront, the project aims to educate all road users, reduce accidents, and protect lives before a tragedy happens.

📱 4. A "Hybrid" Lifeline (Support on the Phone for Everyone)

This bench will actively protect people. It merges a physical monument with instant digital and telephone links to support. If anyone is sitting on that bench in distress, they will have direct phone access to vital services via their mobile:

Mental Health Motorbike for specialized mental health care.

DocBike Sussex for rapid road safety guidance, training resources, and trauma support.

A unified community welfare hub for anyone—biker or not—struggling with grief, PTSD, isolation, or general well-being.

🏫 5. Community & Educational Outreach.

The bench will serve as an open-air refuge for general public well-being. We plan to use it as an educational space for local school and youth group visits to foster early awareness of road safety and motorcycle vulnerability. It stands as a powerful symbol of how the biking community protects its own and supports the wider public.

📝 HOW WE GET THERE: THE NEXT STEPS To secure this 50-slat lease linked with the massive long bench and bring this incredible asset to our town, we need to present our case to Arun District Council. But before we do, the Council needs to see the power of our community support.👉

I need 500 physical signatures to prove the overwhelming demand for this sanctuary. You don't have to be a biker to get the benefit from this.
Keep your eyes on this page—we will be announcing exactly where and when you can sign the petition over the coming days.

Let’s come together, hit this target, and build a high-impact lifeline that honours the past, protects the future, and supports our local community. Ride safe,

Joe @ Rev It Forward

The below picture is only a rough idea of the virtual side to it, this is a work in progress to give you an idea of what I want to achieve not only for us but our future generations there is still a lot to do.

If you go to iPetition and search Rev It Forward you can add your name to show the community is behind this.

📢 IMPORTANT UPDATE: Petition, Donations & Future of Rev It Forward .
The memorial petition is staying open. I’ve received numerous direct messages from bikers who didn't know about the memorial project and want to sign. I am leaving the link active so nobody misses out. To be completely transparent, I personally need to see a very minimum of 500 names to prove to me the biking community actually wants this before considering going ahead.
Here are three crucial updates you need to know right now:

⚠️ The petition is 100% FREE!

Some people stopped signing because the site asked for money. Your signature is counted the second you type your name. The donation screen that pops up next is just an advert from the website. You do not have to pay anything—just skip it or close the page!

📦 Gear donation points are now closed.

All 4 physical donation hubs across the central coastline of West Sussex have now officially shut down. We are no longer accepting kit or physical items.

⏱️ Future of Rev It Forward:

While the project is officially closed for now, I may rethink the future of Rev It Forward further down the line but only if the support is there, it is not possible to run it single handed out of my own pocket in my free time anymore due to the large scale operation & logistics costs & time involved. Rev It Forward evolved into more than just a bikers clothing bank as a one stop shop for the biking community, everything from health and wellbeing - support & road safety.

Right now, it is all about showing strength in numbers. It takes two seconds to put your name down—nothing else is required—and it will decide whether this project moves forward & Rev It forward returns. Click the link in the comments below to find out more, sign if you want it to happen and show your support.
You do not have to be local or even be a biker to get the benefit or help from this hybrid memorial !

Just comment signed if you do. I've my last two bike nights to wrap things up this week if anyone wants a chat. Tonight at West Park Cafe - Bognor Regis and Friday at Brothers’, Bikes, Bangers & Brews

📢 AN IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM REV IT FORWARD
To our incredible biking community. After a lot of thought and reflection, I have made the difficult decision to officially close down Rev It Forward. All donations have been stopped, and our physical operations are shut. Putting my heart into fighting for a permanent seafront memorial and trying to build a lasting support hub has been an incredible journey. However, due to a lack of backing and formal support, running a physical project of this size single handed is no longer viable. I want to thank every single person who donated gear, shared a post, or backed us along the way especially the biker friendly business who offered up their services to make this possible, helping over a thousand people in the process, not all help was in the form of free safety gear as the clothing bank was only a small part of the services offered. But the mission to save lives does not end here.

While the physical bench project is blocked due to no interest, if people change their minds I will do whatever I can to make it happen.

I refuse to let the memory of our fallen riders fade, and I refuse to stop looking out for the mental health and wellbeing of our community. Those who had already asked for help will still be sorted as soon as I can find the correct gear for you.
I will be visiting our amazing drop off donation points this week Ceasefire Cafe Tuesday, West Park Cafe - Bognor Regis on Wednesday and Brothers’, Bikes, Bangers & Brews on Friday to rap things up.

I am incredibly grateful for the memories and the community we built together.

"Ní neart go cur le chéile." (There is no strength without unity.) Thank you one and all !
