Who else is feeling deflated like this elephant in this hot weather we’ve been having?

This mini elephant is coming along nicely. Next thing to do is bring him to life by adding some stuffing 🐘💙

This is how many pattern pieces it takes to make up this cutie of an elephant 🐘

Some pieces you have to cut 2 of and some pieces you even have to cut up to 4!

In total it’s made up of 25 pieces!! That’s quite time consuming to make… but the end result is worth it 🥰

🪄 𝗧𝗮 𝗗𝗮!! ✨

A little personalised patchwork embroidery hoop which can be hung up in the nursery.

Had some scraps of fabric still after making the baby quilt and the elephant… nothing goes to waste here!

I think this makes a great final addition to making a trio gift set for a new baby for friends or family.

Look at the final photo of the whole gift set together.

So with the left over fabric from the hexagon baby quilt I made a stuffed toy elephant.

• Stuffing is made from recycled plastic.

Update on the quilt!

I decided to top stitch/quilt in a diamond pattern. It’s subtle but has a lovely effect with the hexagon blocks.

Next up will be the binding….
