❀️❀️❀️ Pastor wearing . Prepping to get on stage to minister at the Be Ladies Conference 2026. πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ Saw this yesterday... totally made my day! 😍😍😍

So I got to watch a playback on YouTube of Day 1 of the "Be Ladies Conference 2026" convened by Pastor Toyin Oyemade of The Covenant Nation. Besides being excited seeing Pastor Eno Jerry, the first guest minister to kick of the Conference, gloriously clad in a Simeogieme Abaya 2-piece, I was fired up and really blessed by the powerful messages delivered by the ministers. πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ Go watch it on YouTube. You will be blessed.

So as I posted yesterday, I'm going to speak on this quote "Good does not qualify God... God defines good!" - Dunsin Oyekan. This message is inspired by his quote and is for anyone who is going through a challenging time like I've gone through. I hope this brings illumination to someone. If you are blessed by this post, please like, repost, comment and more importantly, share it, so that others could be blessed and inspired as well.

"Good does not qualify God... God defines good!" - Dunsin Oyekan. Let that marinate in your mind for a few minutes... I'm coming.

Simeogieme will be participating at Africa Fashion Week London 2026, this August. Make sure you get your tickets on the AFWL website.

I'm grateful for all the people involved to ensure we deliver an Inspirational show this year. I do the least amount of work really, I just paint, design and conceptualise... the many other bits that make up the hard part is done by many other people. Thanks in advance to all of them. πŸ˜‡

I just saw a very very very foolish comment on Facebook saying Alex Ekubo saw his death coming and prepared for it. This person wrote this like someone who is not going to die. Everyone's death is coming, everyone should be preparing for it... as morbid as this seems. We are not meant to be here forever. We are not going to be here forever, fact!

Someone else wrote in response to a tweet Alex made about cancer in 2011, "He wasn't just speaking supporting those with cancer... he must have seen himself as "one of them" then... he must have been battling cancer for 15 years." Unbelievable! 😳

Why are people SO ignorant??? EVERYONE is counting down to the END! EVERYONE! The more conscious you are of it, the more you lose all unhealthy attachments to this mortal world... and the more intentional you get to live... and the more prepared you become for that ultimate end. It does not matter when that end is. Trust me, to God it does not matter! What matters is if you have finished your assignment here. Do you even know what that assignment is, or you are just wasting your minutes chasing pride, status and collectibles that will mean absolutely zero when the alarm rings for you to return "home" (wherever your "home" may be)???

Whenever you hear someone has returned home, it is not a time for "eh yah", it is a time for deep reflection, a time to ask "what am I doing?" Am I on course? Do I have enough time left to finish this assignment? Or is my visit on earth going to be without purpose? Do I even know the purpose? Am I walking that purpose currently, or am I only concerned about chasing worthless vanities? What will I be remembered for? Who will remember me and for how long? Does it even matter if I'm remembered? If I acknowledge my life is not about me but God, what am I doing that will cause God to be glorified from age to age through the memory of me? What can I learn from the life of someone who has transitioned and is being celebrated for good??? How can I contribute to leaving the world a better place than before I visited??

All other nonsense, mindless and ignorant comments from people, as though one is more fortunate or different from the one who has died, just tires me out. People should try and think and reflect in sobriety at times like this.

I don't even know how I ended up writing a long epistle. I guess I was triggered. πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜‡

Let me digress. I have so many things on my To Do List, and I need to stop procrastinating. One thing I'm happy I've been able to sort out, ahead of the summer, is reviving my garden and flower bed. Patiently waiting for the flowers to bloom. My next door neighbour is just cultivating weeds (bless him), which is so uninspiring.πŸ˜„ We look, but we do not judge! My own concern is that his weeds and wild flowers do not spread into my garden o! But in the spirit of focusing on what's important, he may look across the fence into my garden and say VANITY! πŸ˜„ Perhaps we are allowed to indulge in some of life's vanities, as long as we do not kill ourselves for it.πŸ˜‰

Anyway, have a reflective Saturday. ❀️
