Carmen has been a customer since Feb 2021 - when I sold unisex kidswear - and has consistently placed orders for the past five years and just as important - spread the word about Cub & Pudding far and wide (her mum in the US even contacted me last year to purchase a birthday gift voucher as she knows how much she loves the brand 🙌)

There’s a few reasons why we’ve chosen not to run Slow Threads seasonal or flash sales - the biggie being that when you make super-small batches of limited edition piece, whacking a big discount just doesn’t sit right.

Not to mention the impact on small business margins…

Apparently when the weavers in Chandrabati, West Bengal, were weaving this new fabric for the Sorrel Cornflower Blue they officially proclaimed it to be their favourite of the two Sorrel colourways (edition one landed 2025 and was a pink hue..)
