🌟 I’m thrilled to have secured a place as a jockey in the 2025 Markel Magnolia Cup charity race! 🌟
This is a 5 ½-furlong, all-female, charity race held right in the middle of Glorious Goodwood on 31 July 2025. I’ll be racing alongside 11 other incredible women in front of 10,000 spectators and all those tuning in from around the world.
I’ve been training for nearly 10 months, burning up to 4,000 calories a day (yes, really), and I think I might officially be 98% muscle at this point.
I’m riding in support of an incredible cause: Project Lehar, backed by The King’s Trust International. It’s a programme that helps empower young women through access to education and opportunity, giving them the tools to shape brighter futures.
Having not sat on a horse for 20 years, throwing myself into this might have been a rather questionable decision, but it’s been 100% worth it, and I’m proud to raise money for something so important.
