Built for life on foot or on wheels, enabling you to transport and protect your daily tools and accessories, whilst arriving in style. Malle was started in London, England by two British designers;

Robert Nightingale and Jonathan Cazzola. They initially set out to create considered and purposeful motorcycle luggage that would out-perform any plastic pannier – employing natural robust materials, smart mechanisms and minimalist design aesthetics. Since then they have broadened their collections to include an ever increasing variety of thoughtfully designed items, that blend contemporary design, innovative ideas and noble materials, with a unique sense of British utilitarian style. Our marque ‘Malle’ comes from the French word – meaning tool chest or traveling trunk. The sort you’d see on the back of vintage cars or stacked on train platforms in the 19th Century. A suitable title for a company that makes luggage for integration into transportation. Some of our customers do not ride motorcycles, bicycles or may never strap their Malle to the back of a sports car, but they want luggage that is designed to meet the performance requirements of the ‘moto-lifestyle’ – waterproof, hardwearing, durable – which will meet and surpass their daily needs. waxed cotton canvas, organic cotton interiors and solid welded brass hardware – they are built to last.

This just might be the most beautiful drag race in the world… The Art of Machine Concourse exhibition at The Malle Mile Festival brings the rarest, the finest and the wildest motorcycles in the world together! Then they’re all invited to race in The Art Of Sprint.

We can’t wait to unveil to you all of the absolute diamonds that have been accepted into ‘The Art of Machine’ Concourse exhibition and ‘The Custom Build Challenge’ hosted in partnership with Royal Enfield this year.

At 4pm on the Saturday of The Malle Mile festival, after our celebrity panel of judges have done the rounds, all guests are invited into the Castle courtyard for the show, before each machine is then fired up and heads to the start line.

This is an ultra-rare moment to watch the rarest motorcycles in the world, ridden in anger! We cannot wait!

The Malle Mile Festival gates opens on Thursday the 16th of July at 5pm, for those with the ‘Early Access Pre-Party Tickets’ and officially on Friday the 17th of July at 8am, we cannot wait to welcome you all back to Grimsthorpe Castle!

Before you pack your bags and point your machine in our direction, here are a few things worth knowing to make sure you squeeze every last drop out of The Malle Mile festival. We have so many new experiences this year; ‘The Mile Chill’ our lakeside wellness areas hosted by Vitamin Clinics, with Moto-Yoga, Hurtsend acupuncture mats, sound baths, the sauna and the Moto Massage. Or tomorrow we launch The Mile Pilgrimage with REV’IT! and you’ll find ‘The Slip It! & Rip It’ hosted by REV’IT! deep in the forests of The Super Scramble. THE MALLE MILE FESTIVAL 10 DAY COUNTDOWN!

Over the next 10 days we will be unveiling many of the secrets that we’ve been dreaming up for the last 355 days, as we’ve been planning the greatest motorcycle festival and celebration in the country! We’re unveiling many new race classes and road rallies, main stage lineups with our amazing DJs, live music, wild bands, artists, food, feasts, the photography show, The Lost Club speakers, the finest two wheel and four wheel machines in The Art of Machine concourse exhibition, the wellness area, the new main stage experience, the Mile race arena… Amongst many of these new happenings, there will of course be all of the greatest Mile festival experiences that you’ve all come to embrace and love over the last 12 years. From the Scrambles, the Mini-Mile, off-road racing, pre-party, after party, on road drag racing, MotoPolo, The Super Scramble, motorcycle jousting, wild swimming, The Art Of Sprint… and more!

Racer tickets have now all sold out, there are only a few general admission festival tickets left, this year is going to be sold out! We can’t wait to welcome all of our wonderful guests from around the globe to Grimsthorpe Castle in just 10 days time and for the first race flag to drop!!!

The Great Malle Rally 2026 - The Finish Line - Every man, woman and Rally machine safely across the finish line! The adventure is compete! Each Rallier has now completed 2500 wild Malle Rally miles from the Southern tip of England, into Wales, across the Irish Sea, around the greatest roads of Ireland, back into Wales, over the highest and greatest roads in England and up to all of the most beautiful roads in Scotland, ending at the very northern tip of Scotland & Great Britain. Over 250,000 miles collectively traveled by ‘The Grand Malle Rally’ teams.

Congratulations to all of our Rally teams for completing this ‘Special Edition Rally Expedition’. Thank you to all of our teams, our crew and riding Marshalls for looking after each other so well! So many Rally stories, such great bonds and camaraderie created between this traveling motorcycle circus… and we couldn’t have traveled with a more beautiful group of wandering souls. If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far, go together!

The Great Malle Rally 2026 - Stage 9. After the shortest Rally briefing - with those eels long behind us now - Rally teams take on the final Rally stage, with the last push, 200 miles north. Ralliers advised to ‘keep the dry bit on your right and the wet bit on your left and just keep heading North until you can’t get any further North’, to the Rally finish line to the Northern tip of Scotland at the enigmatic Castle of Mey.

All teams were greeted with Glorious sunshine throughout this stage, as we travel past beautiful Highland coves, with white sand beaches and transparent azure blue waters. Scotland really is on full display today, giving us everything she’s got… as every Rally team digs deep, to give everything they’ve got to get to the finish line, with 2200+ miles behind us, just 200 to go!
