This beautifully delicate floral Antique natural seed pearl choker, restored with a fullrestoration Its fragile mother of pearl frame work held together by its original threads, brittled by time from a century or two ago. Stripped, unglued and cleaned. Mother of pearl pieces re-affixed and tiny new mother of pearl frame parts hand carved and applied where missing. Pearls were gently cleaned and rethreaded to the frames, and seed pearl lattice fitted for length.
An authentic statement piece for an extraordinarily auspicious occasion, entrusted to me for restorative care by so that she could wear it on her . And what a day it was! Also repaired and restored was the small antique seed pearl brooch, converted to a pretty button, with frame and pearl work to an antique seed pearl pair of earrings. It was a bringing something of rare beauty from history’s past to Alanna’s present day. Oh! If these pearls could speak and the stories they would tell us of their former lives and loves they adorned!
