One of my design icons is Janie Crow. I made the Crochet Club blanket a few years ago and it is just gorgeous and this delftware based pattern is just as good.

I think this may be making it onto my Christmas list...

Wow! What a week this has been! Hello to all the new likes and people and I think I am just about calming down from the frenzy past few days!

With so many people buying the pattern, I now have the chance to add in a few answers to the most FAQ. In order to that, it's no longer available on Etsy as there is no way I can send the update to people. You can still get it on Ravelry though and the update will be sent through as soon as it's available.

In the meantime, I am busy crocheting the orders and am pretty sure that there will be a lot more dragons out there in the next few months. And how could that ever be a bad thing? As I have also been off being all medieval this weekend, here is medieval dragon just to add to dragon-ness.

Last year, I decided to make purple, sparkly dragonscale dog coat - because why wouldn't you? It was made for Tilly as a one off and here she is modelling it beautifully at Raglan Castle in the summer. Photos courtesy of vet extraordinaire, Dels.

Happy July, everyone! This is the point where even though it's sunny, the move into the second half of the year gets those of us who knit and crochet thinking about the autumn.
With that in mind, the patterns for the Skadi and steampunk cowls are now available on Ravelry, Maybe a project whilst watching Wimbledon?

I have called the set 'Skadi' after the Norse goddess who is thought to be the inspiration for Hans Christian Anderson's Snow Queen. The gorgeous colours in the yarn are really glacial and the beads sparkle like frost so it seemed very appropriate.
Now of for a nice cup of tea...
