Supun Ranaweerasinghe is a Sri Lankan who has over 16 years’ experience in the apparel industry within the areas of Merchandising and ERP consulting. A commerce graduate of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, he is also a member of the chartered institute of management accountants (CIMA UK) and a certified project management professional (PMI- USA). Sri lanka has excelled in the garment manufacturing industry, and Supun believes that Sri Lankans have an outstanding design talent which can take to a global level and brand name status, which has long been his vision. It was also been his dream to travel the world, and his plans currently includes a world tour to promote the brand, combining both ambitions. THE ARTIST
Born in Matale in Sri Lanka, Lakshman Wimalasena is now based in Linlithgow, Scotland. After years of dreaming that he might come to the UK to study and work, that dream came true in 2008 when he won a scholarship for a PhD in management in Herriot Watt University, completed in June 2015. He currently works as an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Sciences at Herriot Watt University, and paints in his spare time and the small hours of the day. His work is a unique fusion of colour, life, light and story, striking and memorable works which transcend the canvas and lend themselves with ease to the high quality garments in the Lulea Kallax range.
