Turning 50 in 2022, Smiley is leading the way once again with the launch of a first-of-its-kind ­campaign Future Positive, working with brands across the globe to tackle worldwide social and climate injustice through sustainable and transparently-produced products.

From rejection to resilience Charlotte Rose has built her creative practice rooted in honesty, vulnerability and self-expression.

Working with watercolours, self-portraits and references drawn from Renaissance art, vintage advertising and pop art, her pieces feel like pages from her own personal diary.

Through social media, she’s found the freedom to share that work on her own terms, without limits or permission.

For Charlotte, originality isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up, putting your work out there, and not giving up until something sticks.
