If any of you lovely lot are thinking of booking on for Friday, please could you let me know? 🤍

Numbers are looking quite small at the moment, so I’m just considering whether I’ll need to cancel the session if we don’t have any more bookings.

I’ll obviously be in touch directly with anyone who has already booked if the session does need to be cancelled, and you’ll be offered a full refund.

🌿 Could Explore & Play be staying after summer? 🌿

I’ve absolutely loved opening up the doors to older children with my Explore & Play sessions this summer. 💛

My passion with Playfolk has always been to create beautiful, open-ended play opportunities for a broader age range, and seeing how successful these sessions have been has made me really want to continue them after the summer holidays.

So… I’m putting the feelers out! 👀

I’m looking at the possibility of making Explore & Play a regular Friday session after the summer holidays.

Think:
👶 Age 0-5 years
🌿 Open-ended, child-led play
🪵 Natural & everyday resources
🎨 Lots of opportunities to explore, create & get messy
🎶 Songs, rhymes & bubbles
☕ A hot drink & homemade cake for the grown-ups
💛 A calm, welcoming space where children can play at their own pace

I’d love to know if this is something you would be interested in attending on a regular basis.

🌿 EXPLORE & PLAY — THIS FRIDAY 🌿

A calm, relaxed play session where little ones can explore, create and play freely without being told what to do.

Our Explore & Play sessions are all about open-ended, child-led play — using natural and everyday resources to encourage curiosity, imagination and creativity. 🤎

✨ No noisy plastic toys
✨ No set activities they have to follow
✨ Just beautiful resources, space to explore and the freedom to play in their own way

We’ll also have our usual songs, rhymes, bubbles, homemade cake and a hot drink for the grown-ups ☕️🫧

📍 Fridays — 10–11.30am
📅 Summer holiday sessions
👶 Suitable for babies, toddlers & older children up to 5
🎟️ £8.50 per session

At 13 months, they’re beginning to explore those first little moments of role play.

✨ Keep it simple — offer everyday objects they see you using.
✨ Let them watch you first, then give them space to have a go themselves.

No need for lots of toys or instructions… they’re learning so much just by watching us 🤍

Join us at Playfolk Explore & Play for a relaxed morning of open-ended, child-led play in a beautiful, calming environment.

Children can explore a carefully curated selection of natural and authentic resources at their own pace, encouraging creativity, curiosity and confidence, while you enjoy a hot drink, homemade cake and a chance to connect with other parents.

✨ Fridays throughout the summer holidays
🕙 10:00–11:30am
