Grannie Grunters Designed for snuggling on the sofa under a blankey & keeping your tootsies warm. 'Grannie Grunters' were created to keep our Alan Lyon's feet warm during chemo.

"Why can't you knit me bed socks?" he asked. Well, I did made him two plain pairs along with a pair for myself. they were very plain and basic but everyone loved them & they kept his huge feet warm & cosy. Seven years later I still have mine, they are going strong and have not worn out. Why haven't they worn out - note to friends - because I wear them as they were intended to be worn. So lets get

the rules right. Grannie Grunters are for snuggling up on the sofa under a blanky. They are not for sliding up & down on parquet flooring. They were not designed for Bringing your pony in from the field, (or turning out). They are not to be worn for hanging out the washing. Forget putting out the rubbish in them - not their purpose. Treat them right, you'll love them & they'll love you.
