This dress had been sitting in my wardrobe because it no longer fit me, and I couldn't bring myself to let it go. The fabric was just too soft and beautiful to waste, so I gave it a new life. 💜

Now it's become a dress for my little girl, who somehow isn't so little anymore. Watching her wear something that once meant so much to me is a reminder of just how quickly they're growing up.

Sometimes the best way to hold onto a memory is to turn it into a new one. ❤️

Another dress fresh off the sewing machine! 🧵✨

I absolutely love how this one turned out. The fabric has a lovely amount of stretch, making it really comfortable to wear, and of course... it has pockets! 💙

The tie-back detail is one of my favourite parts, it adds a fun touch while still allowing me to adjust the fit (in case my diet goes well....or doesn't!)

It's great for layering too on colder days...being modelled by Helena the dress form this time as it seems no-one is ever around to take photos of me wearing my makes 🤣
