This lovely denim dress had a small hole on one elbow, so my client wasn't getting much wear of it anymore. She wanted a discreet repair to bring it back to good condition.

I used a darning technique to give the area a finish that blends seamlessly into the fabric. This repair has reinforced the sleeve and restored both the strength and wearability of the garment.

Now it's ready to be worn and loved again 🩷

Have you ever stuck your foot through a hole in your jeans as you’re getting dressed? If so, then maybe it’s time for help from me with a repair!

These jeans from my client were causing this exact issue, so she asked me to fix them with some subtle visible mending. I reinforced the area with a lovely black-and-white striped fabric and used stitching to give it a beautifully repaired look that still feels intentional and understated.

What a result - turning a flaw into a unique feature and ensuring my client can keep enjoying these jeans!

I took fabric from another unused pair of jeans and added contrast godets and cuffs for extra length. I am loving the new fit and unique look! These are now my favourite go-to jeans!

This project is a perfect example of one person's trash being transformed into another person's treasure! Using fabric remnants from another sewist, I have created a gorgeous new top! (Simplicity S9385)

Instead of being discarded, this bit of fabric gets a new life.

My client was unhappy with this temperamental zipper, but still liked the top. So a was in order!

I removed the zip and replaced it with loops and a ribbon to give it a corset-style finish. This top now has a better fit and a fresh look!
