Had a bit of a surprise the other morning on my way to the Christmas Market at Belvoir!

As we were coming round the corner in a quiet road, we saw thousands of ducks casually waddling across the road and in the fields nearby. I had to leap out and encourage them to move before they got squashed by a car.
My helper stayed in the car to video the odd moment.

Somehow, I always find myself rescuing or helping animals, no matter where I am. I'm just glad this time it was peaceful ducks, instead of angry swans 😅

It was truly fantastic to showcase my items at Christmas markets this month. I loved having the opportunity to educate about rare breed sheep, the history and meaning of my preferred stitches and the wool to yarn process.
