Hello , there is a new member of staff at Village vintage , meet Ben he will be helping me out soon at vintage fairs and stalls . When he’s a bigger boy anyway .

I have my first auction next Monday to buy new stock and hopefully I will try not to over spend ! .

Really enjoyed Ancrum car boot sale yesterday, it’s lovely to meet new people with interesting stories of what they will do with the furniture and home wares they buy! .

It’s nice to see more and more antique sellers doing car boots too , I do wish that there were more flea markets/ vintage / antique fairs in the borders usually the two main ones are on waiting lists only and the same people do them time and time again which is cool but I speak to a lot of people who are both sellers and buyers to wish there was more fairs , sales .

There is huge interest there so if anyone knows of anyone who can arrange that would be amazing! To also raise money for charities too 🤍

This will be my last car boot for a while as Iam going “ posh “ 🤣and starting to go to auctions to buy less of what I love but more of what customers want like antique rugs and good quality antiques and vintage goods , I’ve been doing this two years now and made a lot of mistakes as you do when you have a small business.
Hopefully that means a website! .

Could I ask if this post could be shared as there is a need for more borders vintage and antique fairs and maybe like minded people could get together and start something? , Love as always Lyn 🤍
