I think this is amazing! A bit of social history. When having a cup of tea was still a luxury in 1924 as the country was still recovering from the First World War😢

This little beauty is a vintage brass Lipton's souvenir tea caddy produced for the British Empire Exhibition in 1924
It features an embossed stylised lion, which was the official mark of the exhibition
The text impressed around the rim reads "Lipton's Souvenir British Empire Exhibition 1924"
These collectable containers were made in England and often measure approximately 11.5cm to 18cm in height🇬🇧

I will give it a gentle clean, and it is for sale (I can’t keep everything so I’m told🙈)
