Summer holidays and running your own business 🫠

At this rate I am surprised I’m still getting orders 😂 who knew running your own business and entertaining the kids for the past 6 weeks would be this full on.

We’ve had the best summer, but quite frankly I’ve fallen off the radar, not been on socials, stayed up till midnight packing orders to ensure it doesn’t creep into my days with the kids. It’s been a lot but I am VERY VERY grateful for everyone that’s stayed with me and kept orders coming in. I honestly don’t know how I’ve survived this long 😂

Late with my monthly re-caps, so here’s May and June together… I’ll blame it on the Disney holiday excitement 🤪

1. So much love for the river print this month. We have some out right best selling prints in our collection so this print doesn’t always get a look in, but people have been loving it lately!
2. Some lovely imagery from our stockist Independent Children's Concept Store in Cowbridge in Cowbridge.
3. Our daffodil print sells hard in spring and we completely sold out of it in our blankets, muslins and sleepsuits but they’re back in stock now.
4. I was at the royal Bath and West show in May, it’s a lovely one as I get to stay with my sister and see my lovely nephews!
5. EBB & FLOW KIDS in Tenby getting a re-stock 🙌🏼
6. We went to Disney Paris for the first time! ✨ Magical!
7. Our kids met their favourite characters…
8. And cried with pure joy and excitement!!
9. Our lovely puppy Pancake had her first birthday! 🎂
10. Our camper got a glow up for our best friends wedding car 🌸

A great weekend in Cardiff, thanks to everyone that came by! But I’m back to it today. Lots of orders to get through and lots of business and life admin. Hope the sun is shining wherever you are! ☀️

This brings me so much JOY! ✨

It still doesn’t get old, seeing what I’ve created being worn by little babies and toddlers.

Don’t get me wrong there are many set backs and I’ve failed at things a long the way, but when the end products are finally right, it’s so worth it! 🙌🏼

One thing that seizes to amaze me, is the kindness of people.

It doesn’t take much time or thought to give a compliment to someone and I’ve had some lovely ones lately. I’m all for praising people and other businesses, you can honestly make someone’s day with the smallest positive remark.

Don’t be fooled though I’ve also heard…‘you can buy 5 in Primark for the same price’. 😂🫠🤦🏽‍♀️

1. Did another very chilly market at the start of the month, still undecided whether I’ll start my markets as early next year as it’s still not very warm 🥶
