Playing or working? For me, sitting in one of my favourite spots with my sketchbook doodling definitely counts as play! Just thought I’d give you a peak at what I’m up to. I’m sure it will change a lot between here and the finished item but the inspiration comes from a whole load of Indian and Persian floral designs which Pinterest keeps showing me (it seems to know me too well 🤨) but I do love the scrolling shapes and the exotic imaginary flowers and leaves.

Bespoke curtain fabric. This reel idea worked better in my head than reality! but sticking with my plan to post regularly on here, I wanted to make the point that you really can make any colour version of the Hen House designs. They will be bespoke to your needs and quite possibly totally unique! Samples can be printed very quickly and are usually with you in less than 10 days. Just choose a design and click on the different colour swatches to see how it might look. It’s quite fun to try (and it’s not just me that thinks that!!)

Why we digitally print the interior fabrics was the theme but the bigger question is where did half my legs go at the beginning of the clip and how many is too many Henis (see the end!)??!!

Anyway I’m climbing back on the Insta bandwagon with quite a lot to learn about making reels! At least digitally printing the fabrics is much more consistent and reliable!

I feel a botanical fabric design coming on! It’s heaven to be back in Tuscany with 4 seasons of weather swinging through. My suitcase was filled with paper and paints and I plan to get busy!

Calling all home decorators. Why would I make you pick from on 3 or 4 colour ways of my designs when I don’t know exactly the colours you are looking for? You can create the perfect bespoke coloured fabric for your curtains or cushions or soft furnishings with my ‘colouriser’ tool - I’m not sure what the best word for the ‘tool‘ is but it’s fun to play with and the colour options are almost endless especially if you get the decorators secret weapon colour palette with 252 colours. Where do you find your inspiration?I love the birdsong, dappled sunshine and fresh green leaves of this time of year and the local woods are magical. The confused stares from my dog and other dog-walkers haven’t put me off getting my sketchbook out and examining a clump of woodland anemones up close! This design is the result and I think it could look gorgeous on a kitchen blind or a bed valence or some cosy cottage curtains depending on the colour. I’d love to know what you think. What would you use it for and what is your favourite colour?

Just monkeying around! A wall paper design for Alistair’s bathroom in London. The brief was monkeys doing their thing and jungle leaves to coordinate with the tiles. Perhaps I’ll do more wallpaper in the future - it’s quite fun!
