When I received a call with the request for a German speaking vow renewal ceremony in St Ives overlooking the ocean I didn't realise how emotional it would make me.
These guys met a long time ago and Sandra wanted to surprise her husband with an unforgettable and unique ceremony whilst they are on holiday in Cornwall. A place they have become very fond of in the ladt few years.
Their story and their journey reminded me about Andy and my journey.
This couple listened to the same music as we did all those years ago.
Telling their story was super special and we shared a few tears together.
Their German ceremony was peppered with personal and meaningful gestures and I felt very honoured to be their celebrant.

It was such an honour and joy to be part of Katherine's and Dan's wedding overlooking the rolling countryside.
There were tears of joy and copius amounts of laughter and most of all an incredible amount of love for this couple.
Their wedding celebration included an emotional ring warming, and a hand binding ceremony, the couple exchanged personal and unique hand written wedding vows.
These two filled my cup.
Some ceremonies just get to you.
I wish you a lifetime of laughter and happiness 😊

I can not shout out enough about
personalising your ceremony with poems or readings.
Such a special way to include family members or friends into the ceremony.
You can personalise your ceremony with chosen readings or poems.
Have you seen the Wedding Poem by Witney Hanson? Or have you seen the extracts from " Corellie's mandoline" or read the text about Love in the Corinthians?
I recommend to my couples to choose 2 readings and select 2 friends or family members or friends to read them during your ceremony.
Or you might have a talented poet in your circle who can write a poem for you.
Nothing can be more personal than this.
During a celebrant led ceremony you have total freedom on how you personalise your day.
