✨ Who sent their little ones off to school today or yesterday? ✨

Whether it was their very first day, a brand-new year, or just another school year ticking by… there’s something about that first-day feeling!

Did you take the traditional front door photo before they headed off?

We’d love to see them! Pop your first-day photos in the comments below 👇

And to all the parents who waved goodbye this week — especially those doing it for the very first time — you’ve got this. ❤️

🎒🌸 Announcement about The Parenthood Space 🌸🎒

Next Wednesday there will be no Parenthood Space session, as my first baby is starting school. 🥹❤️

I want to be right here with her that evening, listening to every little detail of her very first day — what she did, who she met, what made her laugh and all the little moments she wants to tell me about.

It feels impossible that my tiny first baby is now starting school. I’m so proud of the little girl she’s becoming, even if a tiny part of me wishes I could slow time down. 💕

Thank you for understanding. ❤️

It suddenly hit me today… the kids go back to school NEXT WEEK! 😮

How’s everyone feeling about it?
Some of us are counting down the days for a bit of normality again, while others will really miss having their little ones around.

My biggest girl STARTS school next week, and honestly, I’m feeling all the emotions right now.

So tell me — which one are you?
👍🏻 A quiet day to myself with endless tea (and probably a bit of life admin!)
💗 Counting down the hours until pick‑up
🥰 Ready for the school run — though let’s be honest, it’ll probably rain!
😆 Missing my little cherub already… how long until home time?

Such a lovely first Parenthood Space tonight.

Honestly… good tea, easy chats, comfy vibes, and just being around other people who get it. It was really nice to slow down for an hour and just talk.

It’s amazing how much better you feel after a bit of company and a proper natter.
Already looking forward to next week.

There are some things about parenthood that you don’t really understand until you’ve lived them… and sleep deprivation is definitely one of them. 💤

The broken nights.
The early mornings.
The endless settling.
And that feeling of wondering how you’re going to get through the day when you’ve barely slept.

Sometimes you just need somewhere to sit down, have a cuppa, and say “I’m absolutely shattered” to people who get it. 💜

That’s what The Parenthood Space is all about.

A chance to meet other parents and parents-to-be, share experiences, have honest conversations, find some support and take a little bit of time for yourself.

And yes… there will be tea and biscuits. ☕️🍪

We’d love you to join us tomorrow evening.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need to know anyone. Just come along and we’ll make you a cuppa.

Come and see what The Parenthood Space is all about.

When’s the right time to book an antenatal course?

My answer: the time that feels right for you. 💜

I’m definitely a planner. The kind of person who had read my maternity policy before I was even pregnant and who has already started my Christmas shopping in August.

So if someone had told me I needed to wait until 25 weeks pregnant before starting to prepare for birth, I know I would have found that difficult. I like having time to understand things, ask questions and feel prepared.

And that’s why I don’t believe there is one “perfect” week to start preparing for your baby.

Some people want to learn everything early and give themselves plenty of time to practise and feel confident. Others prefer to wait until pregnancy feels a little more real.

Both are completely valid.

My advice? Start when it feels right for you — but ideally give yourself enough time before your baby arrives to explore your options, build your confidence and prepare in a way that feels right for your family.

Through Embrace Parenthood, I offer:
