18/07/2026

I swear I have other personality traits… 😅

But when you spend your days helping families prepare for birth, it’s hard not to get excited when someone tells you they’re pregnant.

If that’s you right now, congratulations.

And if you’re starting to think about your birth preferences, your options, or how you’d like to feel during birth, I’d love to support you.

Send me a message if you’re looking for personalised 1:1 antenatal education and birth preparation support. Together we can explore your options, build your confidence, and help you feel informed and prepared for birth.

When I started thinking about what was missing locally, I kept coming back to the same thing.

Connection.

There are already some fantastic groups, classes and activities for babies and children, and many families attend them regularly.

But whilst babies grow and develop, parents do too.

The Parenthood Space isn’t about teaching your baby a new skill or focusing on the next milestone. It’s about creating a space where parents and parents-to-be can connect, share experiences, have meaningful conversations and take a little time for themselves.

Of course we’ll chat about feeding, sleep, milestones and all the things that come with family life. But the focus is on the people navigating pregnancy and parenthood.

Because parents matter too.

Because you can’t pour from an empty cup.

And because parenthood was never meant to be done alone.

The Parenthood Space is open to all parents and parents-to-be, with pre-crawling babies welcome to attend alongside their grown-up.

Launching Wednesday 19th August,5.45pm–7.15pm
Cross Keys Skills Hub, Shakespeare Avenue, New England, Peterborough, PE1 3JW

Because pregnancy doesn’t only happen during appointments.

Ask Alice is designed for all those moments in between.

The questions.
The overthinking.
The “can I just check something?” messages.

A calm, evidence-based sounding board when you need one.

Creating a space where people feel safe, comfortable and able to talk openly is something that’s really important to me.

Pregnancy, birth and parenthood can bring up so many questions, worries and emotions, and I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to explore those in a supportive, judgement-free environment.

This review means so much because it reflects exactly the kind of experience I hope to create, whether that’s in a group setting or during a one-to-one session.

Thank you for your kind words, and for trusting me to be part of your journey.

A regular occurrence in our house. 😅

My teaching baby spends part of her life helping me demonstrate baby care, feeding positions and other antenatal topics…

…and the rest of her life being very well looked after by my daughter.

Thankfully she’s usually happy to lend her back when I need her.

✨ Introducing The Parenthood Space ✨

As many groups and activities pause for the summer holidays, we’re creating a space where parents and parents-to-be can continue to connect, share experiences and find support.

Parenthood doesn’t stop for the summer, and neither does the need for community. Whether you’re expecting a baby, navigating parenthood, or simply looking for a welcoming space to meet others, we’d love to welcome you.

This isn’t a baby group or a structured parent-and-child session. The focus is on supporting you as a parent. Babies are absolutely welcome to come along, but there’s no expectation to bring them.

Each week we’ll introduce a theme to spark conversation and reflection, but there’s absolutely no pressure to stay on topic. This is your space to talk about what’s important to you, listen, share, or simply enjoy being around others who understand the journey.

💜 Opportunities to meet and connect
💜 A welcoming, supportive environment
💜 Moments for reflection, calm and breathing space
💜 Informal guidance and signposting
💜 A weekly theme to inspire discussion, with no pressure to stay on topic

📍 Cross Keys Skills Hub, Peterborough
📅 Wednesdays | 5:45pm–7:15pm
✨ Starting 19th August
✨ Free to attend – no booking required, just come along

Come as you are, grab a cuppa, and connect with others who get it. We’d love to see you there. 💜

When people come to one of my sessions, my aim isn’t to give them the “perfect” birth plan.

And it certainly isn’t to send them home knowing every possible answer (because honestly, I don’t have them all).

Instead, I hope they leave with something much more valuable.

💪 The confidence to ask the questions that matter to them.
💪 The confidence to understand their options.
💪 The confidence to make informed decisions.
💪 The confidence to welcome their baby in a way that feels right for them.

Because birth isn’t a test to pass, and there isn’t one “right” way to do it.

My role is to provide calm, evidence-based antenatal education and support, so you can understand your options, ask the questions that matter to you and make the decisions that feel right for you and your family.

After all, birth is one day. Parenthood is forever. ✌️

Slightly different to my usual antenatal content, but I love supporting small local businesses and sharing things I genuinely rate.

Last Saturday was my four-year-old Lily’s 4th birthday party. We hired our local village hall and booked the role-play village from Puddlejump Lane Role Play.

A review from a 4-year-old…

“I had so much fun. I loved playing with all my friends and making a mess.”

(Translation: she loved not having to tidy up afterwards 😂)

Honestly, I’d 100% recommend. Such an easy process from start to finish, the setup was amazing, and all the children had a brilliant time.

Preparing for birth can feel like a lot.

There’s so much information out there, so many decisions to make, and sometimes it can feel hard to know what support will feel right for you.

One of the things families often love about private antenatal classes is the flexibility.

Learning at your own pace, in your own home or somewhere you feel comfortable, can make such a difference.

It creates space to slow down, ask questions, and prepare for birth and baby in a way that feels calm, supportive and personal.

This lovely review captures that so beautifully.

To celebrate Embrace Parenthood turning one, I’m currently offering 20% off all private antenatal and hypnobirthing sessions booked before 30th June.

If you’ve been thinking about booking private support, now could be the perfect time. Feel free to pop me a message if you’d like to chat.

One year ago today, I held my very first pregnancy relaxation session.

I had no idea where Embrace Parenthood would take me, but over the past year I’ve had the privilege of supporting so many wonderful local families through pregnancy and birth.

I’ve had brilliant conversations, shared important moments, and slowly built something I’m incredibly proud of.

To celebrate Embrace Parenthood turning one, I’m offering 20% off all private antenatal and hypnobirthing sessions booked before 30th June.

Thank you for being here and supporting my little business 💕
