Marie altered my wedding dress 20 years ago and has just fitted my daughter’s prom dress! Her work is amazing and she is so efficient. Nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

What goes around comes around. I believe in showing kindness whenever and wherever you can so when abundance comes my way I pay it forward.

Today was surprising a grandmother who had helped pay for her granddaughters alterations. A second hand dress from vinted to save money but needed altering. When I told her to keep the cash she had brought to pay me she was overwhelmed. Gave me a big hug and said the biggest thank you.

As a parent/grandparent you do everything for your children, sometimes at your own expense and sacrifice. Sometimes you just need a little surprise that says it all.

Not sure if you are can read this but you are so very welcome and I was only too pleased to help.

I’ve met some lovely girls and seen some stunning prom dresses this season. Most girls did their last exams today, they have the best summer ahead of them and a bright future I’m sure.

General alterations are different but it’s a busy time of year so dont leave it until the last minute

Always worth shopping around!

“Marie has been so helpful from start to finish, I originally was given a very pricey quote from another seamstress that seemed unrealistic, I contacted Marie on Facebook and she was so helpful in telling me roughly what would need doing by photos. I had my appointment and I now have my wedding dress back and it’s been altered to perfection, VERY reasonably priced for all the hard work that has gone into it, I can’t wait to wear it on the big day! My mum also had her mother of the bride dress altered, my dad for his jacket, waistcoat and trousers of who are all really pleased with the alterations.”
