We’re in the process of painting our new 3x3 basketball court for West Hendon Playing Fields, which is near the Goldsmith Avenue entrance off the Edgware Road (A5). We’re hoping it’ll be open for everyone to enjoy by the end of next week.

It’s been created as part of our wider masterplan to transform and revitalise the popular urban park, improving its accessibility, safety and usability for everyone.

The nearby tennis courts have also been refurbished recently.

We opened London’s first 3x3 basketball court in Barnet Playing Fields last year.

Pre-tournament 🏀

Long before the first game, there was a lot happening behind the scenes.

Volunteers arriving early, the 2 courts being prepared, equipment going out, final details being checked, setting up awards and then players & spectators arriving to make the space come to life.

A big thank you to everyone who helped get Alexandra Park ready and to everyone who turned up ready to play, watch, support and be part of the day.
