Just started sewing the Pixie Dress by Style Arc. Mastered the neckline. It’s been great sewing this so far and I definitely think I’m improving my sewing skills.
I have the frill to attach on the hem but it’s definitely short for me as a dress.
Will post more progress tomorrow 😊
I will definitely be sewing this again but will do some alterations to the pattern next time by adding length.

The Bee is back.

The Great British Sewing Bee returns Tuesday 21st May at 9pm on BBC One.

Got some lovely blue cotton silk which I’m transforming into soft furnishings. One curtain is overlocked and hems pinned. Will carry on tomorrow. Let’s hope the weather gets better. I love it when the sun shines.

All change of sewing thread from Black to White. Overlocker was a bit fiddley but fine to rethread.

Well I called at Fabrics at Fleetwood for buttons and was not disappointed. I got several sets to put into stock and chose a nice reflective button to compliment the dress. Sorry the photo does not show how pretty they are

Busy busy. Got my mojo back and now started the skirt. I’m putting pockets in it 😊. I love pockets.
