I’m really sorry, but I’ve had to cancel today’s Mamabears session due to unforeseen circumstances
Tomorrows sessions will continue as normal and everything is ready for our Father’s Day session in the afternoon- I can’t wait 💕

Our new wooden play collection has just arrived at Mamabears 🌿🤎

Made from natural materials and child safety certified, it’s been such a joy to bring these into our space knowing they’re safe, simple, and designed with little ones in mind.

Luca has already been completely drawn in - I’ve loved watching him explore, move things around, and create his own little worlds with it. No instructions, no flashing lights… just open-ended play doing its magic ✨

It really reminds me how powerful simple toys can be for imagination and creativity. When children are free to lead the play, you can almost see their brains working - problem solving, storytelling, experimenting, and just thinking in their own way.

This is exactly what I want Mamabears to be about- calm, natural play that lets children just be children 🤍

These toys will be at our session The Bear Den- this Wednesday and coming to every Thursday afternoons! They are available for bookings and walk ins

Looking for other mums who are navigating maternity leave too? Come and join us for Mum Speed Dating at MamaBears Village!

Mum Speed Dating is a warm, fun event designed for mums in their first year of motherhood who want to find their people.

Just like speed dating, you’ll take part in several short rounds, with fun conversation starter cards on each table to help break the ice and get the conversation flowing.

But unlike speed dating, there’s no pressure, no awkwardness, and no commitment! Just the chance to meet lots of local mums and maybe find a few people you’d love to stay in touch with.

This isn’t about surface-level small talk. It’s about real conversations, genuine connections, and getting to know the person behind the “mum” title.

After the speed dating rounds, we’ll finish with 30 minutes of free play, giving you the chance to continue chatting with the mums you’ve connected with while the little ones play.

💛 Help Us Create Comfort Bags for New Mums 💛

Thanks to funding from Drop Dead Generous, MamaBears Village will be creating comfort bags for mums and delivering them on the postnatal ward. Inside each bag, we’d love to include a handwritten note from a mum who’s been there.

Not advice.
Not perfection.
Just real words from one mum to another

At our upcoming sessions, we’ll have a ‘Words for New Mums’ tree where you can leave a message of encouragement, hope or understanding for a new mum.

It could be something you wish you’d known, something that helped you through, or simply a reminder that she’s not alone.

We’ll collect these messages and include them in the comfort bags, so every mum receives words of support from women who have walked the same path before her.

Because sometimes the most powerful gift is knowing someone else understands. 💖

Thank you to everyone who attended this mornings Calm & Glow session ✨
I always leave the session feeling lighter so thank you 💖
It was definitely a success with some babies falling asleep during the session like Bo here which meant mum was able to have time to have a hot drink and talk with other mums. Another win was the other babies were looking tired towards the end of the session which meant it was time for them to nap and mum to have a minute or two to herself 💕

I’m so pleased I am able to put on our Calm & Glow sessions every Thursday morning in June 🫶

We've made a little change to Calm and Glow and we love how it feels 🌟

We're now opening every session with some gentle nursery rhymes and songs together before we dim the lights and let the glow begin 🎵

It sets the most beautiful, calm tone and honestly the babies are absolutely loving it 🤍

Everything else you love is still there — the sensory lights, the bubbles, the hot drink and the warm company 🪷✨

And can we just say — the name Calm and Glow isn't about your baby being calm. Babies are babies 😂 It's about how YOU leave feeling. Calm, glowing and a little less alone. Fussy babies, unsettled babies, babies having a day — all completely welcome here 🤍
