Big news from Kaylo! Our newest recruit, 24-year-old Jack Till, from Hastings in East Sussex, celebrated his sponsorship deal with victory in the Sussex Indoor Singles & Pairs Championships at Falaise IBC on Sunday. Jack recently graduated from Leicester University with a degree in Ergonomic Philosophy & Theology and currently works as an investment manager in equine performance sport. He won the Sussex Singles with a hard fought 21-15 win against seasoned campaigner Simon Pettingel (Grattons); the game lasted 27 ends although Jack was always in control of the contest and never behind.
Jack also teamed up with our very own Charles Wright, who works with us in an advisory capacity, to win the Sussex Pairs with a convincing 25-6 over Kevin Majijik & Tony Sayers (Arun). The game was largely played out on short jacks on a very fast green, which Team Kaylo found easily from the beginning and the result was never in doubt. For 65 year old Charles, this was his 21st County title in Sussex. His first County title was in 1990, long before Jack was born.
After the game, Jack said "I was delighted to pick up both trophies and I want to thank PBPC Ltd for all the great coaching I have received from Keith Renwick, and a big thank you also to Kaylo for showing faith in me to give me a sponsorship deal. Kaylo kit is a quality product and I am looking forward to wearing their new bespoke-designed shirts in the future."
The season is far from over for Jack! He still has three Open Singles Circuit tournaments to play and the club Pairs and Triples at Gullivers/Langney Sports (Pevensey) IBC. We wish him all the best for the rest of the indoor season and beyond!
Once again, congratulations Jack! We're proud to have you as part of Team Kaylo! ๐๐๐
And last but not least, congratulations Charles Wright on winning his 21st County title in Sussex! As one of our advisors at Kaylo, we're honored to have you on our team. Well done and keep inspiring us! ๐๐๐ค
