Our collaboration with Bardo Tea in Portland, OR. Custom-made floor cushions, built using Japanese denim, heavy-weight cotton ripstop and Cordura Nylon. These pieces also feature our new low-profile fingertip handle, designed to maintain maneuverability while also delivering a cleaner aesthetic. Calling all interior designer/architect/hospitality & outdoor recreation industry friends and followers! Whilst commercial work is not new to Peace Cabin, we have recently put a name to it and updated our portfolio of work. Through our custom pieces, we seek to stay true to our brand’s visual identity and maintain our use of considered filling materials. We work with both our existing fabrics, as well as commercial-grade materials, matched to project’s specific creative direction. Tri-Pad: a multi-use platform which also happens to make a great on-the-go resting spot for the fur buddies! Features below ⬇️

- 26” x 22” - great for small to medium size dogs
- 1000 Denier Cordura Nylon shell on both sides that’s water-resistant and durable on any surfaces.
- 1/2” high-density non toxic foam pad inserts.
- Keeps them protected on all surfaces, whether damp, rough, hot or cold!
- UV resistant marine-grade edge binding.
- Built in nylon webbing carry handle.
- Heavy duty bungee closure for quick and easy storage (keep it in your trunk, bag or camp gear!)
- Utility loop for tying to something (or use with a ground stake) making sure it stays where you left it.
- They float, so go ahead and use in water crafts. The high-density foam insert will also help reduce the impact of the ride.
- Easy to clean - just rinse/hose it off, scrub with some detergent or dish soap if needed, then hang to dry (no bleach please ☺️).

Field tests continued this week on our Tri-pad Utility Ground Mat, fishing the small streams of the NW Adirondacks. With its super durable 1000 Denier Cordura nylon shell and a high density foam insert, the Tri-Pad is perfect for protecting neoprene boot liners and keeping the dirt off while changing your footwear.

The importance of TESTING: Does this thing that we’re planning to make actually do what we want it to? If we aren’t testing what we make ourselves, then how do we know it works? We developed the Tri-Pad Utility Ground Mat as a larger format extension of our Utility Pads. After taking the initial sample on a few trips, we then passed it over to good friend of the brand, Matt Steindl , to put it through its paces. Matt is a keen fly-fisher, so we knew it would get used for wader/boot removal in gravelly parking lots. But he found other uses for it too, whether working on his bike, playing with his young daughter (and it might even have seen a diaper change in the back of the car). The only adjustments we made were making it slightly wider, and adding a utility loop, offering more functionality overall. Thanks for the valuable input Matt!
