It takes a village🥰🫶🏼

To think that most of these amazing ladies walked into their very first class alone with their precious babies, feeling scared, nervous, surrounded by complete strangers- to now! 🥹🤍

Baby Sensory is SO much more than a baby group. The welcoming classes make friendships you never expected to make such a huge part of your journey through motherhood❤️

And even more precious, this time I’m the one introducing my newest addition 👶🥹

🌞✨ SOLAR ECLIPSE – 12th August 2026 ✨🌞

Something magical is happening in the sky! 🌌🌙☀️

Today, 12th August 2026, the Moon is passing directly between the Earth and the Sun, creating a spectacular solar eclipse. During an eclipse, the Moon’s shadow falls across Earth, temporarily blocking some or all of the Sun’s light. 🌎🌙☀️

🌞 Solar Eclipse – Scunthorpe 🌙

* 🕕 6:13 pm — Eclipse begins
* 🌗 7:09 pm — Maximum eclipse — around 90% of the Sun covered
* 🌘 8:03 pm — Eclipse ends
* ⏱️ Total duration: approximately 1 hour 50 minutes

It’s a wonderful natural phenomenon and a great opportunity for children to learn about space, the Sun, Moon and Earth, while sparking curiosity about the world beyond us. ⭐🚀
(⚠️ Remember: Never look directly at the Sun during a partial eclipse. Proper solar viewing glasses or an approved solar viewer are essential for safe viewing)

A little strawberry picking with my Aubrey strawberry 🍓❤️

Just a reminder that there are no classes this week as I officially start my maternity leave. Over the next three weeks, I’ll be spending some precious time making memories with Aubrey before life as we know it changes with the arrival of baby number 2 🫣

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has attended a class, recommended me, liked or shared a post. It truly means so much and I’m so grateful for every one of you!

Thank you for all the beautiful cards, thoughtful gifts, and well wishes. You’ve all made this special time even more memorable and I’m so lucky🥰

Although I’m so happy I’m not packing the van in this heat 😅 I genuinely love my job and I’m so happy to have met some friends for life! 🐽 Hopefully see lots of you real soon at Pink Pig’s Scones and Scales and we’ll get this predicted 97th percentile baby measured🙈

For now, enjoy this gorgeous sunshine get those babies’ toes on the grass, let them explore different textures, and enjoy some simple sensory adventures outdoors. ☀️
