I’ve shown you my very first etching, but this is the piece I’m working on now—a lavender field close to home. It’s not printed yet; I’ve just finished etching the image onto the vinyl plate. I’ll post the final print when it’s ready 💜

After working through COVID with the NHS, creativity took a back seat for a few years—I simply didn’t have the headspace for it. But over time, I really started to miss having a creative outlet. I knew I wanted to try something different from sewing, and that’s when I found printmaking. ❤️

Etching, in particular, has become my happy place. I love the peace it brings, and I don’t know what I’d do without it now. I’m always learning and (hopefully!) improving as I go.
