*Appreciation post* This is my all time favourite bag, I ve been making the shell bag for over two years, an idea I saw online and just gave it a crack, I end up doing something different every time because I m a complete winger.

It takes me a long time to make and is really hard on my hands and wrists. At the start of the summer I saw a very similar bag in primark, much cheaper material used but eventually 1/3 of the price I would charge. I decided I wouldn’t make any this year, worrying about the cost and ‘why would any one but something when a cheaper version is avaliable?’ But a good friend asked me to make one and I must say I absolutley smashed it, again winging it but it came out so different and so much better. This led to another friend asking for one.

Now my fairs are all finished and I m so proud of the response I get next time I will make more shell bags and not let fear take over. Self belief is really hard when business goes quiet or a cheaper version comes along.

So really I want to say thank you to my friends and family for believing in me and all my customers for the support and kindness. This is my small business but so not small to me! 🧶
