💚🩵💜 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 💜🩵💚
And just like that, we're home! ✈️🏡
The suitcases are unpacked, the washing machine is working overtime, the food shop is done and normal life has resumed 😂
It was so lovely to have cuddles with Katie and the boys again 🥰🐾🐾 although I have to say they both look like they could do with a good bath after a week of mischief! 🤣💙
Before I move on to sharing some current projects again, I thought I'd finish off my little run through the Amazing Blankets collection with the Amazing Staggered Stripes Blanket 💜🩵💚
I still love the bold design of this one and how the colours seem to dance across the blanket 🧶✨
It's been lovely looking back through these blankets while I've been away, but now it's time to get back to current projects... and that cardigan isn't going to finish itself! 😳😂💜

🩷🧡💛 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝... 💛🧡🩷
As we're travelling home today, I thought I'd share another photo of my Pulse Festival Blanket 😍
This blanket always makes me think of sunshine, summer and happy memories ☀️🧶 and after such a lovely week away, it felt like the perfect one to share.
We've had the most amazing holiday, made lots of memories and thoroughly enjoyed some family time together 🥰🌴☀️ Thank you if you've been following along with my holiday adventures in my stories too ❤️
As lovely as it's been, I'm also looking forward to getting home, seeing Katie and the boys 🐾🐾 and settling back into normal life again.
Although there won't be much rest... because that cardigan needs finishing and Katie needs it for Sunday! 😂🩷🧶

A little cardigan update today! 💕
Before we jetted off on holiday, I managed to finish the first sleeve ✈️☀️
I'm so pleased with how it's coming together and I'm still absolutely loving these gorgeous shades in Naturals Bamboo + Cotton 🩷✨
The cardigan has been on my hook whilst on holiday and will definitely get finished! Yay! 🧶🤞💕

Another blanket from my Amazing Blankets collection today 😍
I still love these bright, happy colours. The pink, orange and yellow combination always makes me smile and looking back at it now, it feels very fitting after sharing my Fiesta Pulse Festival Blanket yesterday too 🩷🧡💛
There's just something about colourful crochet that brightens your day, and this blanket certainly does that ☀️🌸
I think this has to be one of my favourite colour combinations from the collection, although that might change tomorrow! 😂

💜🩷🧡💛 𝙁𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙮... 𝙁𝙞𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙖 𝙑𝙞𝙗𝙚𝙨! 💛🧡🩷💜
Seeing as I'm currently soaking up the sunshine in Fuerteventura 🇪🇸☀️, I thought it was the perfect time to share a throwback to my Pulse Festival Blanket in the Fiesta colourway! 😍
Just look at those colours 💜🩷🧡💛 They always make me smile and remind me of summer, sunshine and holidays ☀️
Made from a mixture of solid and traditional granny squares, this was such a fun project to make and a great one for warmer weather too. Working on individual squares means you're not wrestling with a huge blanket on your lap when it's hot! 🥵🧶

😾🩷 𝐏𝐢𝐩 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐞'𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐑... 🩷😾
Whilst I was sat in the airport waiting for our flight, Katie sent me these photos of Pip enjoying her new blanket ✈️😂
Well... "enjoying" might be a bit of a stretch judging by that face 😹
I honestly don't know why she looks so annoyed. She has a comfy new blanket, a perfect spot to loaf and an entire photo shoot dedicated to her 🐱💜📸
I think it's safe to say this blanket has found its forever owner. It may have started life as a crochet project, but it's officially Pip's now 🩷💜
And judging by that expression, she's already preparing a strongly worded complaint because her nap was interrupted 😂😾

I always loved the bold geometric design on this one and the bright colours still make me smile 😍
It's amazing what you can create with some simple colour changes and a crochet hook 🧶✨

🩷🧶 Cardigan Progress Update 🧶🩷
The body of the Anne Cardigan by .knits is now complete 🎉🙌
I'm making it for my daughter Katie to wear to a christening in July using Stylecraft Yarns Naturals Bamboo + Cotton and I have to admit, this project has really pushed me out of my crochet comfort zone! 😂
Not because it's a difficult pattern, but because I've made very few garments over the years and it's using parts of my crochet brain that don't get used very often 🤯
I'm really enjoying seeing it come together though and the yarn is absolutely gorgeous to work with 💖
The original plan was to have it finished before our holiday to Fuerteventura... but with life, work, family and a few other projects getting in the way, I think this cardigan may well be coming on holiday with me! 😂🩷🧶 Cardigan Progress Update 🧶🩷

💜🩷 𝐁𝐨𝐛𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝... 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝! 🩷💜
I've pulled this one back out as I'm determined to get it finished before we head off on holiday next week 🧶✨
This is my Bobbling Around Blanket made in Festival yarn and while it's not going to be as large as the blanket in the pattern, that's simply because I only had one ball of yarn to work with! 💜
To be honest, I think it's worked out perfectly! 🩷 It's shaping up to be just the right size for a cosy pet blanket... although I have a feeling Pip the cat has already claimed it as her own 😹💜
I'm hoping to get the last few rounds finished over the next few days and tick another WIP off the list before we go away ✨

Back to 2022 today and another design from my Amazing Blankets collection for Yarn and Colors 🌈✨
This is the Amazing Stripey Blanket 😍
Sometimes all you need is stripes and blankets... what more could you want? 🧶💕
Measuring approximately 129cm x 91cm, this colourful design was made using the Intarsia crochet technique to create the bold graphic stripes 💙💚💛
I love how bright and cheerful this one is. It's amazing how simple colour changes can create such a striking design 🌈✨
Looking back through these blankets has been a lovely trip down memory lane and a reminder of how much I enjoyed designing this collection 🩷
