🧶 Crochet with me using my new 𝙆𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙋𝙧𝙤 𝙑𝙮𝙗𝙚 hook… 🩵

There’s nothing quite like sitting down with a set of new hooks and some lovely yarn and just crocheting for a little while!🥰

I’ve been trying out my new Vybe hooks and for this little granny circle I chose the 5mm hook and I'm using the lovely Impressions in the new Bazille colourway 💜🩵🩷

I am quite fussy with my crochet hooks as sometimes the tips are too tippy! But these are just perfect and glide through the yarn like butter! And the pastel colours aren't bad to look at either!🫶 😍

No particular project this time… just a little bit of crochet for the pleasure of crocheting! 🧶✨

❤️🩷 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐭... 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐬! 🩷❤️

Happy Tuesday! 👋 We’re away at the moment, but of course these came with me... I couldn’t possibly go away without a crochet project! 😂🧶

My two 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬 are growing and I’m loving watching the colours slowly move away from those gorgeous reds and into the pinks. ❤️🩷

I’m still making the two versions side by side! One in 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐚 and one in 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐃𝐊, and seeing the same colour journey in two completely different yarns is SO satisfying! 😍

I’m using two strands together throughout, sometimes two of the same shade and sometimes mixing one strand of each colour to create those lovely in-between shades and help everything blend together🫶✨

I’ve brought my squares away with me to work on, so hopefully there’ll be a few more added to these piles before we head home! 🙈🩷

Anyone else incapable of going away without packing some crochet? 😂🧶

🌸🌈 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲! 🌈🌸

I can't quite believe we're creeping towards the end of summer already! ☀️ Although I'm definitely not ready to say goodbye to all the colour just yet! 😂

So I thought this afternoon was the perfect excuse to share my Snuggle Bloom Blanket again... one of the squishiest, happiest blankets I've made! 🥰

All those chunky little flowers, the pastel rainbow colours and that border... it just makes me smile every time I look at it. 🌸💛🩷💜💙💚

This one was made using Chenille Chunky and it's every bit as soft and cuddly as it looks! 🧶

When I was choosing my new case from and spotted this one, I knew straight away it was THE one! 😍

Just look how perfectly those colours match the Catona shades for my 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐭! 🌈🧶💜💙💚💛🧡🩷 It was clearly meant to be!

And as well as looking pretty, it’s MagSafe compatible too 🙌

💜🧶 𝐀 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬... 🧶💜

A little progress update on my cowl! This is still very much my go-to project when I just fancy picking up my hook and doing a little crochet 🫶

And now I can finally tell you what I've been using! 😍 It's the new Naturals Pure Wool in Raspberry, Pale Rose, Emperor, Violet, Lincoln, Cypress, Bottle, Mocha and Walnut 💗💜💚🤎

You might recognise those colour names too... the shades match the Stylecraft Special DK range! I absolutely LOVE how they all look together in the Pure Wool! 😍

Slowly but surely this cowl is growing, and I'm loving it more with every row! 🧶💕

🌸☀️ 𝗔 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 – 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲! ☀️🌸
Nearly at the end of August already! 😱🌸 July is all joined and up to date, and I had to show you the back of the blanket too... I think it's so pretty! 🫶
And look at those August flowers! 😍🩷🧡 We reached a whopping 33°C, so Toy made another appearance alongside Candyfloss and Apricot! ☀️🌡️
As much as I LOVE these gorgeous warmer shades, I'm definitely looking forward to some cooler months now! 😂🍂

🧶✨ Meet my new crochet hooks… the 𝗞𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗣𝗿𝗼 𝗩𝘆𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘁! ✨🧶

Just look at those colours! 😍 Heaven for my eyes!!

The Vybe hooks have such a soft and confortable handle with beautiful rose gold tips! And 14 different sizes in the Grande set! 🌈🩷

Of course, I had to give them a test drive! I used the lovely Impressions yarn and they were a perfect match! 🧶

I love how completely different a pattern can look just by changing the yarn! 😍

This is the chenille version of my Granny's Gone Rogue Blanket and all those different stitches and textures become even more squishy and snuggly worked in chunky chenille 🥰
