I began knitting when I was 6/7 years old and continue to knit daily. I mostly knit baby and young children’s garments up to about the age of 3 ye

ars. I also crochet blankets for babies, adults, etc. During the Covid lockdown I learned how to knit adult socks, and enjoy knitting these. In the last 3 of years since becoming a Granny, I have expanded my range of creativity to home decor eg jigsaw names and birth rainbow stackers. Our “RAFFY” design is a jumper with a jigsaw pattern to the front and back worked in stocking stitch throughout. It has button holes and the shoulders for ease of dressing. It has been knitted using Baby DK yarn. It uses 3.25mm and 4mm knitting needles. It will fit age ranges 6 months to 24 months, which is 18” and 20” chest sizes. Our “BECKY” design is a Baby and Child Knitting Pattern for a Jumper with a bunny worked in the knit and is available in two sizes 22″ and 24″ chest (approx 2-4 years).

The yarn used to knit “Becky” was Woolcraft Baby Care DK and King Cole Truffle, along with oddments of blue, pink and grey for bunny facial features.

This jumper is our “Maureen” design which was named after my Godmother. It is a round-neck easy knit project worked in stocking stitch with contrasting Lacy pattern around the lower front and back and sleeves, which adds that special touch.
