📏 Getting your measurements right is one of the most important steps when ordering a custom leotard. 🩰✨

For the most accurate fit, please take all measurements over a snug training leotard and use preferebly centimetres (cm).

Here’s how to measure:
1. CHEST — FRONT VIEW
Measure horizontally around the fullest part of the chest, across the bust line.
Keep the measuring tape level and comfortably snug.
1B. CHEST — BACK VIEW
Make sure the tape stays completely level across the back, passing straight across the shoulder blades.
2. WAIST
Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your waist. To find your waist level, you can tie an elastic band and move a little, the elastic band will reach your waist level.
Keep the tape comfortable and do not pull it tight.
3. HIPS
Measure horizontally around the widest part of the hips.
Make sure the tape remains level all the way around.
4. TORSO / GIRTH — FRONT
Start at the centre of the shoulder. Measure down over the bust, through the crotch, and back up to the starting point at the shoulder.
4B. TORSO / GIRTH — PROFILE VIEW
Keep the measuring tape continuous and close to the body, following the natural contour of the body.
5. INSIDE SEAM
Start at the centre of the crotch (gusset) and measure straight down along the inside of the leg to the floor.
Stand straight and keep the tape straight.
6. SIDE SEAM
Start at the natural waistline (the narrowest point of the waist) and measure straight down along the side of the body to the ankle bone.
7. SLEEVE LENGTH
Keep the arm relaxed and straight.
Start at the protruding shoulder bone, then measure along the outside of the arm, through the elbow, to the wrist bone.
Do not start from the neckline.
8. BICEPS
Measure around the fullest part of the upper arm (biceps).
Keep the tape horizontal and comfortably snug.
9. WRIST
Measure around the wrist at the wrist bone.
Keep the tape horizontal and snug, without pulling it tight.
✨ FINAL CHECK
Please double-check every measurement before submitting it. Accurate measurements help us achieve the best possible fit for your costume.

From idea to pattern ✏️✨

Before fabrics, crystals and the final sparkle, there’s a much less glamorous part of creating a custom costume — pattern making.

I draw the pattern by hand. It may look simple on camera, but this is where the real work begins. 🪡

This is the part of my job you don’t usually see. ✂️

Do you know what I heard a lot during my holiday in my homeland?

“Wait… you’re self-employed and you came only for ONE week?!”
Hm,yes. 🙂

Here’s the reality…
When you’re self-employed, especially when you run a small handmade business, you don’t simply take paid holidays.

If I don’t work, I don’t earn.

There is no holiday pay waiting for me at the end of the month.
No guaranteed salary.
No one covering my orders while I’m away.

Before going on holiday, I have to work harder to make sure everything is finished, orders are organised, customers are informed and the business can survive my absence.

And after the holiday?
I come back to emails, enquiries, orders, messages, planning… and everything else that has been waiting for me.

So yes, I came to my homeland for one week.
Not because I don’t deserve a longer holiday.
But because as a self-employed person, every day away from work has a cost.
And honestly?
I’m learning that even one week of completely switching off is something I should appreciate. ❤️

Being self-employed gives me freedom…
…but freedom comes with a price.

✨ Let’s talk custom design! ✨

I want to share updated pricing structure with you, along with a little insight into how I price bespoke creations. 🧵💎

Every single piece I make is handcrafted from scratch to perfectly fit the athlete. You might notice that the prices vary based on a few key factors:

📏 Size & Height: Larger garments require more fabric, more specialized pattern drafting, and significantly more hours of precise hand-stoning.

🎨 Design Complexity: The "Simple Designs" are perfect for clean, high-impact looks with elegant detailing. For garments with intricate layering, 3D appliques, complex mesh cutouts, or heavy crystal coverage, the price adjusts to reflect the extra days of work required.

⛸️ Sport Specialization: From rhythmic gymnasts to the ice/ figure skaters, each sport demands different technical construction.

Swipe through ➡️ to see the starting price guides for:
💜 Rhythmic & Aerobic Leotards (Simple & Complex options)
❄️ Figure Skating Costumes
🤸‍♂️ Acrobatic Duos & Trios

Please note: All listed rates are starting prices. Final quotes are tailored exactly to your chosen design, crystal count, and specific requirements.

Thank you all for trusting me to bring your performance visions to life!

Meet me, Regina — the person behind Re'Leotards&Dresses ✨

Mostly You see the finished costumes, the sparkle, the colours, the details. But there’s a person behind every single one of them. ❤️

Hi, I’m Regina, the founder and maker behind Re'Leotards&Dresses, based in Southampton, Hampshire, UK.

I’ve always loved creating things with my hands. As a child, I made clothes for my dolls, drew, crocheted and dreamed about becoming a fashion designer. I guess that little girl never really left me… 😊

Today, I create handmade costumes for rhythmic gymnastics, ice skating, dance and other performance disciplines.
Every piece starts with an idea — and then comes the sketching, choosing fabrics and crystals, cutting, sewing, fitting, adjusting… and sometimes starting again because “it just doesn’t look right yet.” 😅

I don’t have a factory.
I don’t have a team of 20 people.
It’s mostly me, my sewing machine and a studio full of fabrics, crystals and ideas. ✨

And that’s exactly what I love about what I do.
When you order from Re'Leotards&Dresses, you’re not just buying a costume. You’re working directly with the person who designs and makes it.

So now you know the face behind the dresses. 👋
I’m Regina. And this is my little world of costumes, creativity and a LOT of CRYSTALS. 💎✨

Tell me — how did you discover Re'Leotards&Dresses? 💬

❤️ A little more red…

I’ve made quite a few costumes in red this year — and somehow, I’m still not tired of this colour! ❤️

And there’s one more red creation… this time, it’s an ice skating dress for Zarah ⛸️✨

Which one is your favourite — red or you have another favourite colour? 👇

Reflections after visiting my homeland 🇱🇹

Now that the emotions have settled a little, I feel ready to share some thoughts about my recent trip to Lithuania.
I haven’t been back for many years, so going there was quite an emotional and, honestly, nervous experience.

When we landed at Vilnius Airport, I expected to feel something… excitement, nostalgia, maybe even tears.
But I didn’t.
I felt nothing.
Well… apart from worry.

Some people might say that sounds heartless. Maybe it does. But I think sometimes our relationship with a place changes when we’ve been away from it for a long time.

Please don’t misunderstand me — I still think Vilnius is a beautiful city, and Lithuania is a beautiful country. There are so many lakes, forests, little villages and places that carry memories and history.
But this time, everything looked different.
Or perhaps I was different.

I left Lithuania many years ago, and since then, so much has happened. I’ve built a life somewhere else, experienced different things, changed as a person, and created new memories.
So coming back made me realise something: sometimes you can return to the place where you grew up, but it doesn’t necessarily feel like coming home anymore.
And maybe that’s okay.

I’m still trying to understand exactly what I felt during this trip. Perhaps I needed some time away from it before I could see it clearly.
This trip gave me a lot to think about. ❤️
