Our Woolly Wednesday meetup last night was delish. Here are two of my WIPs, some dried flowers. It was fab and we had lots of giggles.S’s Halloween hat-y was defo WiP I wanna make. Button holes on point R! K can’t wait to see the FO. E’s cloud of gorgeousness, P is going to be Ravelry obsessed we reckon. I could go on. Sorry for forgetting some. I love my sample design using ’s Unelma. It’s so soft. If like me you like soft yarn on face but want woolly wool and want a chunky quick knit, this is the one. My young people have been warned off it. It’s free and it’s perfect for the winds of winter. Named after a place-name of my heritage. Now available on Ravelry 💕🤘💕

A perfect yarn and pattern match. Margaret Dashwood shawl by Joanna Johnson 📚🎨 using 2 skeins of our natural grey North Ronaldsay yarn from the mill knit on 4.5mm. This is great wool 🧡 🧡from the seaweed eating Orkney sheep. Available in the shop (link in bio)

A happy Friday. a scary thing. My 1st YouTube video is up (link in bio:)eek! Gushed over a shawl my friend made & gifted to me bc she wasn’t happy with it. Then did a wee intro (tried to keep the yapping short) then talked about Érírí, my WiP (now blocking) and next projects. Subtitles are auto generated so forgive the dodgy spellings. I’ve been putting this off for months hey! No time like the present.

Eriri will be at Yarn Fluff & Stuff on Sat 5 September, 11am to 3pm at Letham Village Hall, Cupar. It is the East Central Scotland Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers open day, and as a member of the guild I’m proud this is my first vending event. I’ll bring North Ronaldsay wool (Obvs 🙂 Shetland wool, Welsh wool, my sublime Nordic yarns, samples and maybe a design or two of my own 😊. Come say hey.
