Tell me honestly did I take the 90s retro vibe too far?……….

Sewing this dress is something iv been planning for a while and after seeing littlelegsfabrics post this morning I was inspired to get it done!

For me the important thing is that about this dress is that my daughter grace complimented me she’s in her pre teen era where colour does not often feature in her wardrobe but I want her to grow up knowing you can be uniquely you and wear what makes you happy 😊

But tell me honestly did I take the 90s retro vibe too far? Or is this just dopamine dressing at its finest?

My fav item this week has been a silly goose lies here Napa romper! Why?

- it features our much loved silly goose
- it’s bursting with colour and character
- it’s child friendly Halloween/ spooky season fun

Sometimes I have to remind myself why I started sewing in the first place. 🤍

Today I put the customer orders to one side for a little while and made something just for me.

I spend so much time sewing for everyone else that it's easy to forget how much I simply love creating.

Taking a little time to make something for myself has definitely filled my creative cup again, and now I'm ready to get back to the Autumn orders with fresh inspiration.

Does anyone else have a hobby they sometimes forget to make time for?

It can feel strange seeing pumpkins and autumn colours whilst we're still enjoying summer, but there's a good reason why small handmade businesses start talking about autumn now.
