I hear this a lot. "I'm going to wait until baby is a bit older before coming along". And I completely get it - you don't want to spend your money on a session and then baby falls asleep for part (or all!) of it. Or you feel like your baby isn't old enough to interact with the toys and resources.

But hear me out. During the first 12 weeks, your baby's brain develops faster than at any other time of their life. And if they do fall asleep, they're still taking in at least 60% of the stimuli. So please don't miss out on this amazing developmental period because it looks like baby isn't really doing anything - their brains are absolute sponges!

💡🔦Spotlight on our Sutton venue🔦💡

📍 Polly Bowls Club, Unwin Road, NG17 4HN 📍

If you’ve never been to that particular venue before, it can be tricky to find if you’re not from the area. ❌It’s not Unwin road social club, we’re just a couple of doors up from there, (if Unwin club is on your right, drive slow just past that and look out for a short red brick wall with Polly Bowls sign on it). Then enter the narrow entrance that has the sign ‘Polly Bowls Club’ on the wall, follow the track all the way around the football field to the massive car park 🅿️ There’s stacks of parking spaces! 🚗

♨️There is also lovely underfloor heating in the glow room which makes it so cosy on a horrible winters day🥶

The venue is close to bus routes where the Number 1 bus will drop you off just on the main road near Kingsmill hospital/ Aldi/ B&Q/ McDonald’s area, or if you’re coming from the Huthwaite side it will drop you off on the Eastfield side stop, then a short walk down to Unwin Road.

(They also hire the function room out if you’re looking for a party room for your little one). 🎈

I no longer have my Hucknall church hall venue 😢

So Is there anywhere you think we should go next? Any towns/villages? Maybe you have to travel quite a bit to get to us? Or perhaps you attend a venue already for something else and think this would be great for a glow room? 🤔

(Must be ground floor due to the amount of kit, easy access for offloading 2 cars worth of sensory resources and a car park for our families, plus no windows or minimal windows to create a dark space sufficiently) thank you ☺️

How does it work? 🤔

*IMPORTANT *

We made some changes to these mini pop up photoshoots- please only book on if your little one is age 4 month plus on the event date! This is for safety purposes mostly but also due to prop suitability and little ones ability. Little ones aged 4 month onwards naturally have that little more head support and strength needed to safely complete these quick 5 minute photoshoot sessions 📸

Do you know why I started Little Glow on 22nd July 2019?

As I’ve been looking back on 7 years worth of photos for my 7th business birthday, I wanted to revisit why I started up Little Glow in the first place.

When my son was a baby it was tough to find a space to go to, to meet up with friends where there would be no toddlers or older children running around 😩

What I love about Little Glow is that we do sessions purely for newborn to pre walkers, it’s a safe space for that first venture out and to know that you’re amongst others with babies a similar age while they’re trying to explore, either with their eyes or their hands.

And just maybe you might connect with others, if you want to, that are also going through sleepless nights, reflux ,teething, weaning, and all the things you want to get off your chest!

There’s an old saying “ a problem shared is a problem halved “

So come and share any of your worries with parents just like you at Little Glow ☺️

Our newborn- pre walkers sessions are running through August :

Are your little ones animal lovers? 🦔🐍🐹

We have the fabulous Animal Encounters, Derbyshire joining us in this Sunday 26th July! ⚠️

Animal Encounters will be setting up in our side room at Sutton. You’ll be able to have 45 minutes of interaction with the range of animals, then 45 minutes in the sensory room if you wish! There’ll be a variety of Snakes, lizards, fluffies and creepy crawlies to hold (carefully of course ☺️ ).

Hattie the hedgehog is hugely popular

🦔🐍🐹Both these sessions will be mainly for 0-5’s (and as it’s summer holidays if you have an older child up to the age of 10 who’d like to attend also, then please book them on, as long as they’re responsible and caring to look out for our little ones on the session).

First child/ baby will be £16, brother/sister ticket will be £6.
