Based in West Monkton, Véra created Paul & Thor after being inspired by her quirky duo – Paul the grumpy chihuahua and Thor the laid-back black labrador.
Handmade with love from natural, organic ingredients, the long-lasting shampoo bars offer gentle care that leaves coats shiny and soft, while the Paw Restore Balm can be massaged into toes and noses for a moisturising treatment which minimises roughness and restores glossiness.

Lu Lloyd creates stunning artwork and jewellery from her studio in Westonzoyland and pictured is just a small selection of what we have in stock, so do come in for a browse!

We are delighted to once again have more beautiful stock in from Laura Laws.
These super summery soap dishes and earrings are handmade by Laura in her Taunton studio. Each unique piece is crafted using resin and natural flowers and foliage – which she picks herself and presses by hand in wooden presses. Laura aims to be as sustainable as possible, using only local flowers, that are never artificially coloured.
We have a feeling these are not going to hang around for long, so if you see something you like the look of - don’t delay!

In need of a little pampering? We know the feeling! Why not treat yourself – or someone special - to some gorgeous beauty products that have all been lovingly made in Somerset?
At Stripples we have a fabulous selection of goodies to make you feel fantastic. From bath salts to body balms and scrubs, to clay masks, facial oils, soaps and shampoo bars, to lip balms, natural deodorants and soothing lavender pillows. Not to mention some all-important chocolate treats and a range of candles and diffusers to set the mood!

We love it when our shelves are full to bursting with tasty treats! Just look at this selection of mouth-watering jams, chutneys, chilli oils, sauces, sea salts and vinegars from Bumblees and The Chillees. These two fantastic businesses are run by husband and wife team Nick and Francine and all their products are lovingly made by Francine in small batches from their kitchen in Creech St Michael. Having sampled many of their products, it’s not hard to see why they have won multiple awards. But don’t just take our word for it – come and discover their range of wonderful flavours for yourself!

Are you picnic ready? Here at Stripples we’ve got you covered!
With everything from chutneys, jams and sauces to tasty treats such as chocolate and fudge, plus ciders, wines and spirits – we have a wide selection of local produce to tempt you!
We are based at Coates English Willow which means you can browse a range of baskets and hampers to put all your goodies in! All are made using willow grown on the Somerset Levels and handmade on site by a talented team of basket makers.
Find us nestled in the courtyard at Coates English Willow Visitor Centre, Stoke St. Gregory, Taunton. TA3 6HY. Open Monday -Saturday 10am-4pm.

Look at all the wonderful Gekko Art goodies that have arrived in Stripples! Sandi Mower is the fabulous artist behind these vibrant creations which make the shop pop with colour. Based in Barrington, she takes inspiration from the wildlife of rural Somerset – as well as more exotic creatures from further afield.
From tumblers, tankards and mugs to chopping boards, trivets, tea towels and coasters (plus some delicious local spirits and ciders!) - pictured is just a small selection of what we have in stock so why not come and pay us a visit? We would love to see you!

We are embracing the summer vibes and are delighted to share with you some new arrivals!
Check out these wonderfully characterful green men handmade by Sharon Bradford Pottery. Each one is unique, and the glazes used mean they can be displayed either indoors or out.
Known for their beautiful cards, did you know Coppertop Cards also create hand-engraved slates? From serving platters ideal for alfresco dining, to stylish herb markers for the garden – all make for perfect summer gifting.
Hand-crafted by Anna, we have a range of vibrant storage bags back in stock – we like to use ours for storing toiletries, but they are useful for all kinds of bits and bobs!
