Weekends are for making memories with these little guys💕

This weekend we went to the cinema for the first time ☺️

This morning between Facebook, insta, emails & WhatsApp I had 47 messages to respond to that came over the weekend 😆

I do check messages but I don’t have the time to reply to them until working hours Monday - Friday unless they are time sensitive because it’s important to me that mummy is present in their memories & not glued to the screen 🤗😵‍💫

Looking forward to seeing everyone for our raves this week 🥳

YET ANOTHER IRRATIONAL MUM GUILT MOMENT 😆

I thought 20 years in childcare had prepared me for motherhood… turns out nothing prepares you for the irrational mum guilt. 🤪

It’s 3:30am, I need to be up at 7, and I’m sitting downstairs with a cuppa because I can’t sleep after sending Flynn back to his own bed tonight.

He’s always fallen asleep with cuddles and usually ends up in our bed because we’re his safe space. But he’s 4 now, and honestly… he sleeps like he’s auditioning for the WWE. 😂

Tonight, instead of bringing him into our bed, I settled him back into his own. It took 20 minutes, a few reassurances, and some lullabies… and he fell asleep all by himself.

Me? I’ve been awake ever since feeling guilty that I didn’t just scoop him up for a cuddle. 😅

People often tell me I seem to have motherhood all figured out.

The truth? I’m winging it, surviving on caffeine and very little sleep, just like everyone else.

Here’s to all the mamas lying awake with irrational mum guilt… ❤️ None of us really have it all together, we are all just doing our best.

If you haven’t checked our Thrive yet then now is the perfect time! I only recently found this play cafe & both of my boys absolutely loved it! It has something to suit all ages, a safe baby space, an outdoor area for nice days, lots of role play, a sensory area & my eldest favourite was the softplay area.

Rachel who owns it is lovely & welcoming & I found it very reasonable to book and the fact that you can take in your own snacks was a great bonus! 🤗
