One of the retirement communities that I visit as a volunteer has a charity knitting group. They have a large stash of yarn and I was particularly taken with this one. I was allowed to take it on condition that I returned with something that could be donated. What do you think of my effort? Will it pass muster?

This is Berkeley the Scottie modelling his custom sweater in the Scottish colours no less. Berkeley is the beloved fur baby of one of Chunky Knits’ supporters of long standing, and he hasn’t been feeling well, so we designed a sweater to keep him cosy. Doesn’t he look as cute as a button?

This is our beloved senior basset hound, Luna, wearing her custom sweater especially adapted to her unusual dimensions. Because bassets are so long, with short legs and deep chests, normal dog sweater patterns don’t work for them. Hopefully this will keep our old lady cozy throughout the rest of the winter.
