Spots left on my “Vintage Style Bag” Crochet Course!
Starting Friday 12th June, 10am-12pm .
A four week course (4 x 2 hour sessions) where we will make a bag with a lovely flower motif and learn some new techniques along the way, including crocheting flat fabric and how to make a custom fit lining for your bag.
Skill Level - Improvers
You’ll need to be confident with the basic crochet stitches such as chaining, double crochet (UK treble), single crochet (UK double).
This is a great follow on course for those that have done my beginners course.
You wouldn’t need to attend every class, however, missing the first class would not be ideal and you’d still have to pay for the whole course - but of course you’d receive any relevant class notes/links to videos.
Not suitable for complete beginners.

Spreadsheets are a great way to manage colour distribution with your granny square sweaters. Whether you want to make sure you’re using equal quantities of each colour or you have to accommodate more or less of a colour (maybe you don’t have the same yardage of each colour or you prefer one colour over another).
This is something I teach in my online sweater course. I have templates (no need for excel as we use google sheets) that you can amend to your own colour-way and I can even help you make a template if you’re really struggling or you have an unusual colour distribution/set-up.
You can sign up to my waitlist on my website- link in bio.
Yarn is Happy Sheep 100% wool from and the motif is my Twinkling Granny which you can also find in my website

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵? £39 for 2x 2 hour sessions.

From join-as-you-go, to more decorative crochet borders, discover beautiful and effective ways to join your crochet motifs. During this 2 week course ( 2 x 2 hour sessions), we’re aiming to try 2 different joining techniques each week.

Get to grips with some game changing joins such as “JAGY” and continuous joins.

You’ll learn which joins are best suited to different projects such as bags, blankets and clothing.

𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹
Students should be confident with basic crochet techniques such as dc(UK)/sc(US), tr(UK)/dc(US), slip stitching, chaining and counting stitches.

𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱
Students should bring 8 traditional 3 round granny squares in DK yarn with a corresponding hook size and DK yarn for joining in a contrast colour for visibility using the motif below, to each class.
𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻-𝘂𝗽? Don't worry, I have spare motifs and yarn.

This was the original project that I started during my Free online crochet course. I got sidetracked by the orange/brown multi-granny square scarf (see previous posts).
I’m not going to finish before the official close date of the course (10th April) but I’m going keep going regardless.
