⚡💚✨🎉 S E W S A L L Y B • I S • S I X ! 🎉✨💚⚡
🔹️Six years ago, I opened my Etsy shop ⭐
🔸My first order was for a facemask 😷 (thanks for being my first customer, Pimmsicle 😘)
🔹I had no business cards and decorated my SewSallyB tags by hand ✏️ 
🔸My fabric collection was pretty modest 💚
🔹My cat, Bob, used to play with and occasionally sit on fabric - that I'd just pinned!🐈 (miss you, Bob 🤍)
🔸My love for sewing and fabric has continued to grow (quite literally in the case of the latter! 🤓)
🔹I've become a bit of a scrap-buster and turned offcuts into Book Corners, earrings and stuffing for keyrings (no scrap left behind 💪🏻)
🔸I've made Door Hanging Organisers, Kindle Cases, a Fish Extender and my first shirred dress 👗
🔹I have invested in an embroidery machine and am excited to introduce some embroidered items (watch this space 😬)
🔸I have enjoyed every project and look forward to many more 🧵

🔹I love making things for people and adding new items to my shop, but running a small business definitely has its pros and cons 🫥
🔸 Every time I post something on social media I wonder if it will be met with kindness or tumbleweed 🫠
🔹But I keep going because I don't think success is necessarily measured by hundreds of likes or sales ⭐
🔸Sometimes it's someone who chooses to keep doing the thing that brings them joy 🥰
