Happy new years everyone 😁✨

My achievements of 2023 were:
- Qualifying as a Lactation consultant and setting up my own business . Since I launched in September i’ve had 50 bookings and helped support these amazing families with their feeding journeys 🤱🏼
- Poppy has gone from saying about 5 words to being a teeny cute chatter box and the best companion
-I managed to steal the family Cat Stanley and he now lives with us 😉
-I learnt how to make Nutella and can pretend to myself the home made version is healthy

New Year’s resolutions 💪🏼

-Try to attempt any form of exercise 🏃🏼‍♀️
-Start my own breastfeeding clinic 🤱🏼
-And to continue to adventure around the world of course, next stop is South India in Feb! 🇮🇳

Another adventure with our Wild Travel Child. Trying to make the most of free flights before she’s 2 🥲.

I thought travelling would get harder as Poppy got older and she definitely sleeps a lot less and has become a lot heavier…

But she’s actually becoming an even better travel companion now she can communicate and interact with everything. It’s so fun showing her the world, she’s become so cheeky and such a little joker 🌎♥️.

Anyone else EXHAUSTED of being EXHAUSTED? 🥹

While we were travelling, Poppy cuddled us all night, always breastfed to sleep and napped in our arms. We followed her rhythms and found the lack of routine allowed us to travel without any constraints. If she wanted to have a power nap at 6pm whatevs ! 🤷‍♀️.

Now we’re at home and at work the night madness is taking its toll.. I can’t cope with the exhaustion and being kicked in the face by my 15 month old all night!

So we’ve bitten the bullet and hired a sleep consultant… I’m not sure why we deliberated so much… surely investing in a good nights sleep is better than splurging on a fancy pram?!

We chatted to a couple of specialists but were easily won over by . Harpreet is a London based consultant who has an individualistic approach and says that great sleep and breastfeeding can work side by side. also has fantastic reviews by well rested parents saying that after completing her two week course their children now sleep well and their lives have completely changed… Can this really be true?! Might Poppy actually sleep again in the not so far future? Stay tuned…

The kiddies here are so friendly, they all run over to Poppy to say hi and play, she’s already made so many friends 🥹.

Our stop in Greece was short but sweet 😍. Now we’re heading back towards London - driving through the Balkans ! 🚙

Feeling apprehensive that our trip is coming to an end soon after a year long adventure 🥹 but also so excited to stop off at all of the amazing countries of Eastern Europe on our way! 🌍

BEACHES while travelling

Being half Ozzie we assumed that beach life was in Poppy’s blood. So we were a bit sad when we took her to the beach for the first time in Fuerteventura and she whimpered when we dipped her toes in the sea. Since this, Poppy has now experienced beach life all over the world, from the tropical seas of Central America to the calm waters of the Mediterranean. She now loves the beach so much that she whimpers when we take her toes out! 🥹⛱
