💜 Thank you to everyone who has followed, liked and shared so far! 💜

🪡 I thought it may be worth discussing why I feel this service is needed in today's society, at a price accessible to the masses!

🪡 Did you know that 300000 tonnes of clothing is sent to landfill each year in the UK?

🪡 Did you know that 22 million pieces of furniture are sent to landfill each year in the UK? 50% of which is still in usable condition.

🪡 Not only could many of these items be repaired, altered or recycled into something new, but they also take up a huge amount of space unnecessarily in landfill!

🪡 Synthetic fibres (plastic) makes up 60% of clothing and 70% of household fabrics, this in itself is not an issue, however when combined with the numbers above this means that two thirds of the clothing sent to landfill is plastic and therefore is going to be in landfill a long time!

🌍 We want to help people limit their contribution to landfill by offering our sewing services as well as raising awareness of fabric waste in the UK!

🌍 Any new items made by us will be made with our values in mind, ensuring that our fabric waste is kept to an absolute minimum!
