We’re huge compost fans, as is Doris.
If you’ve listened to the featuring us (there’s a link in our bio), you’ll know that she learnt to spring over the wall from the compost heap, so had to be kept on a lead at the for a few weeks, as we built up the barriers a little further.
We also dismantled it a little and spread some of the lovely goodness onto our chairs.

And in answer to some of the questions - yes - we have had a wormery, we’ve put our very elderly feather cushions in the compost before Doris could destroy them, and we’ve discovered A LOT of plastic coating and tape from the cardboard we’d been adding. We have a good sieve before we add it onto our precious plants. 🌱
