Aaah - the end of an era.

The beautiful house, where the very first grown chair prototype was grown and Alice grew up, has passed to a lovely new family.

Many happy memories, fabulous friends and gorgeous trees and plants.

Hugely grateful for all the amazing times we had there.

We’re richly blessed with wonderful friends, neighbours and a hugely supportive artistic community around us, and Jack and Shannon from .co are all three! (Although they don’t live next door anymore - sob 😭!)

They made this GORGEOUS movie as one of the brand films they made for us. (You will have seen some already.)

They also make AMAZING films as Forever Curious & .inthewild - check out their amazing grids and be astounded.

We’re slowly easing back into reality after the surreal and star-studded day yesterday RHS - Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show.

We were delighted to hear this morning that The Missing Collector Garden won a Silver-Gilt medal.

We would LOVE it if you could vote for The Missing Collector Garden to be People’s Choice in the All About Plants category.

It’s finally the day - So excited!

After a first call in December 2024, a visit in February 2025, much held breath and huge appreciation for all the teams’ hard work, it’s Chelsea!

- & - have teamed up with & .giving.back to make the amazing Missing Collector garden.

We’re just round the corner, eating breakfast and putting on our glad rags, and can’t wait to see how it looks in real life!

Expect either a ton of photos, or hardly any while we chat to lots of people.

We’re huge compost fans, as is Doris.

If you’ve listened to the featuring us (there’s a link in our bio), you’ll know that she learnt to spring over the wall from the compost heap, so had to be kept on a lead at the for a few weeks, as we built up the barriers a little further.

We also dismantled it a little and spread some of the lovely goodness onto our chairs.

And in answer to some of the questions - yes - we have had a wormery, we’ve put our very elderly feather cushions in the compost before Doris could destroy them, and we’ve discovered A LOT of plastic coating and tape from the cardboard we’d been adding. We have a good sieve before we add it onto our precious plants. 🌱
