This old lady came out of storage for a run yesterday. 1937 Singer 201K knee lever, made in Clydebank. I always preferred this machine making my vintage items, the top stitching is just gorgeous. My sister's using it to fix her horsey blankets, she done great having never used a sewing machine and she made a bag. So glad she’s still running and at home in Scotland. It’s nice to take time away from the patterns and involve family in what I’ve always enjoyed.

After ive graded down the bodice block, this particular lady has a very full bust. I have part traced around the block and repositioned the bust apex, im going to cut into the block and spread about 3cm around 1.1/4 inches where my fingers are. I will then trace the new side shape. I shall be doing some detailed tutorials on various dart manipulations of the bodice block, so keep an eye out for them.
