Over the next few months, I wanted to do Christmas a little differently here at Kidz Kloset.

There are already loads of posts telling us what toys to buy, what sales to shop and what Christmas bits we should be stocking up on… so I wanted this series to be about something else. ❤️

🥹 Walking through the school gates for the VERY FIRST TIME while you smile bravely and then cry in the car…

✏️ Heading back to primary school excited to see their friends, armed with a brand-new water bottle they’ll probably lose by Friday…

😂 Starting secondary school looking far too grown-up in a blazer that currently reaches their knees…

🙄 Somewhere in the middle years, where getting an answer to “How was school?” requires a full police-style interrogation…

📖 Or heading into their FINAL YEAR with the big GCSEs looming, mock exams, revision timetables and parents suddenly realising we’ve forgotten everything we ever learned about algebra…

To all the children starting new schools, moving up a year, meeting new teachers, making new friends or beginning that final push towards their GCSEs — you’ve got this! 💪

And to all the parents…

We’ve survived six weeks of:
“I'm hungry.”
“Can I have a snack?”
“I'm bored.”
“What are we doing today?”
…and approximately 847 trips to the supermarket. 😂

The uniforms are labelled, the shoes have been bought, the PE kits are hopefully in the right bags…

Now we just need to remember which day PE is! 🤦‍♀️😂

Wishing every child, teenager, teacher AND slightly emotional parent a brilliant start to the new school year. 💜💙

Here’s to new beginnings, big adventures and hopefully not losing the school jumper in week one! 😂

Good Morning 😫😫

Been awake since 2am my mind is racing, stressing out about so much stuff 😫.

Wish I could switch off get a full night's sleep without either being woken up. By my noisy partner who seems to like to bash about when he gets up to go the bathroom or by my brain just not being able to stop planning what needs doing even though I've literally wrote out what needs doing.

The thing is I'm awake awake, so going back to sleep now is going to be so hard.

Can I just ask who is prepared to pay for the argos christmas gift guide when you can pick it up for free - ok so I know some people can't get an argos easily but they are online and also this is £4! Just proves you can literally sell anything - and before anyone says anything i buy and sell its my living so I get it and I know people collect these type of things but I don't know I just think its the £4 that is bugging me £1 or £2 at a push.
