Dolly Parton was a punk icon 🖤 Always 100% herself, not letting anyone tell her how to dress, what to say or who to be. She fought the status quo in the most badass way possible - and never apologised for being different.

An outspoken ally for the animals, the environment and the LGBTQIA+ community. She lifted everyone up with her and her shining light will be so missed. Vale Dolly Parton 🖤

💻 Hours upon hours (and days!) of admin
🛍️ 10 hours filling 1,000 information bags
📣 2 months of advertising and promotion
🗺️ Days spent creating our Discover Wrexham Independent Traders map
🤝 Countless hours chatting with and bringing together local businesses

And we’ve done every bit of it whilst running our own independent businesses too. ❤️

We haven’t done this for recognition. We’ve done it because we believe in Wrexham. We believe in our independent businesses, our high street, our makers, our traders and the incredible people behind them.

We want to show people that there IS so much to discover in Wrexham. 🏙️❤️

This event has been built with passion, determination and a whole lot of love for our city.

We are still reeling from Bloodstock! One of my personal favourite moments was seeing OVERPOWER , such sick thrash metal that you should absolutely check out, anyways here's a photo of me holding an Overpower sticker whilst watching Overpower! 😂🤘🏻

I am genuinely so excited for next year with bands like Pig Destroyer, Fulci, Kannonfieber, and ACID BATH going next year, just to name a few! So you'll definitely be seeing us next year! 💀🔥

We are back be it a bit bruised and broken but we had so much fun at Bloodstock Festival highlights for me were Biohazard PARTY CANNON (Official) and 200 STAB WOUNDS

End of an era today.

Karen from Rings & Things has been trading in Wrexham for over 30 years! We’ve had the privilege of Karen’s friendship, advice and knowledge for our mere 3 years in business and we’re grateful for that. We’re going to miss you and your wicked laugh echoing through the building! All the best for the new job.

Skellytones will only be open Today (Tuesday), Wednesday and Thursday this week as I am taking my children on a much needed holiday. 🥰 There will still be plenty of traders open and on Thursday 23rd July a bingo night is being help in support of Dementia UK Please get behind this if you can, a very worthy cause. Seems like the shop has been taken back to 2006 as the old BMTH has returned, and I've got a classic monster! 😂🤘🏻 I hope you are all doing well in this anti goth/metalhead weather! Have any of you had to Count Your Blessings Repented yet? I've had it blasting in the shop this morning, and it sounds absolutely amazing! My favourite song off this album is For Steive Wonder's Eyes Only, and I'm so glad the new version does it justice! 🔥💀 But what do you guys think of it? Let us know!

Hope we're all well on this BLOODY HOT Wednesday morning! 😂🥵 I know it's still weeks away, but I am super excited for Bloodstock in a few weeks that I'm getting super impatient! 😫😅 I just miss being camped out in a field with my family and a few friends, drinking and listening to some good music! So if you're going to Bloodstock this year, we might see a few of you mad bunch there! 🤘🏻🔥
