Today’s prompt is Favourite Make… and there was absolutely no competition for me! 💕

It has to be my Higgledy Hexi Cardigan. 🌈🧶

I love everything about this cardigan — the colours, the hexagons, the slightly wonky higgledy-piggledy feel and, most importantly, the fact that I designed it myself! 🥰

There’s something extra special about wearing something you’ve imagined, designed and then actually brought to life with a hook and some yarn.

It’s definitely one of those makes that I’ll never get bored of wearing — and I’m pretty sure have several in the wip basket too! 😂

It’s Day 3 of and today we want to see your stash! 🧶✨

I stock such a huge selection of yarn, colours, textures and crafty goodies that I spend my days surrounded by things I absolutely need to crochet with.

“Those colours would make a gorgeous blanket…”
“Ooooh, I could make a cardigan with that…”
“That yarn is too pretty to sell…” 👀

You can see where this is going. 😂

My stash is basically a very carefully curated collection of things I’m supposed to be selling… but secretly want to keep. 🤣🧶🌈

Hi Yarn Friends! 👋🏻🧶

How is it September already!! I am not sure where the year has gone. I have not posted very consistently but I love the focus of Yarn Friends Rock to prompt me, hopefully it will get me back into a better routine.
I also love the opportunity for the yarn community to connect, share what we’re making, find our people and, most importantly, have a bit of fun along the way. 🥰

I’m a HUGE lover of yarn, crochet, colour and all things crafty. 🌈🧶 And I genuinely believe that one of the best things about making is the people you meet along the way.

🇯🇵 We’re back in Japan… and this time we’ve brought the whole crew! ❤️

Last year we had no idea what to expect and completely fell in love with this incredible country. This year, we’re back with my husband, my daughter and my daughter’s boyfriend to rediscover some of our favourite places and create lots of new memories together.

Our first day has been amazing already – great food, lots of exploring and that magical feeling that only Japan seems to give you. 🏯🍜✨

I can already tell this trip is going to be very special. ❤️

Here’s to more adventures, hidden gems, convenience store snacks and unforgettable family moments over the next couple of weeks. 🇯🇵
